White bedding is the best

I never thought so.
I would buy colourful bedding with patterns.
Then one day I needed an unusual size to fit the new duvet and the only one in the shop was white.
Good quality cotton, but white.
I bought it thinking well this sucks.
Oh was I wrong.
I washed it yesterday and dried it in the sun and this morning I feel in heaven.
Plus the room looks bigger.
If I didn’t have a small baby and no time I would have ironed it. Oh my, imagine it all steam ironed 😍😍😍

Keep it white by using Persil Bio , a long wash at 60°c ( my machine takes 2 hrs 45 mins ) and no fabric conditioner
I put the sheets and pillow cases on the line when possible , but my duvet covers are king size and I've trodden on them whilst hanging them on the line once too often , so they go in the tumble dryer 👍
Keeps nice and white , I've had some sets for 6 years ,

I have that problem all the time with clothes.
That is a newish white T-shirt next to the bedding. You can see the shirt is no longer crisp white
I think maybe the key is the cotton and quality, and drying in the sun
I only use a super mild laundry product due to eczema

Love white bedding, I haven’t got any coloured! Also love white towels, and terry towelling white baby grows, oh and my dh big muscles in a tight white t shirt

I'm on team white bedding too . It just looks clean and fresh and not fussy , makes bedroom more restful... I don't iron it. It's cotton and it's survived babies, tea spills, heavy periods etc because you can hot wash and leave on the line to get out stains. Mine is from John Lewis, Heals, Soak and Sleep.

At home we have a superking bed and extra-superking duvet and a variety of linen, all good cotton but different, plain colours. I struggle if we go on holiday and have to share a double bed. However, we are currently stuck overseas in a serviced apartment. It's bloody awful BUT, it has a superking bed and those massive sparkling white duvet covers and pillow cases, the ones that kind of have a matt stripe and a satin one. And just as good, they come and change it once a week so I don't have to struggle with the duvet cover! So soft and lovely, I'm sleeping better than I have in YEARS despite the particularly shitty situation we are in!

White is the only way- there’s a reason why good hotels all have crisp white linen.

If you want a splash of colour then a throw or bed spread is fine but absolutely no patterned duvet covers for adults.

Each to their own. Nothing but white bedding in this house. Teenager DD had some patterned ones but then asked for white, and that’s what we’re having:)

Plain sage green linen here - it’s like an ocean of calm. I love the feel of linen too; softer than cotton.

God yes. It's so peaceful! I don't iron it, I have 2 sets that I rotate and keep them folded.

All we have is white bedding now we bought a few sets from tk maxx they were more than what I usually pay for bedding but my room just feels fresher and I feel the bed has to look perfect each morning when I get up I love making my bed and opening the windows. It's the small things

I've only ever had white since I left home 20 years ago. It feels clean and luxurious. I grew up in a cluttered home and have sensory issues, so anything that induces calm, I love.

Ha! I used to shop there till my bottom sheets literally fell apart and the shop said anything over 6 months was fair wear and tear!.

White (or cream) all the way for me.

And yes a scoop of Vanish and a hot wash keeps them white. (ex B&B owner- never had a yellowing sheet ).

I have white walls in every room of my house with the odd splash of colour (one wall, curtains, cushions...). Our bathrooms are being redone starting next week and will be all white except the flooring.

I still have Slytherin bedding. I love it! Before I found this bedding, I had grey and black bedding. White bedding would be so boring!

TK Maxx is great for bedding! All ours is from there. Have white but also a beautiful Ralph Lauren floral one. It’s an easy way of changing the feel of a room.
