admittedly, ive only been a member for a few months, but i have come to this conclusion. take today for instance. the main topic of conversation on this section is; parents of 5 year olds worried about which senior school to go to? on that thread is the biggest bore & snob you will ever have the misfortune to meet. this popular thread is closely followed by mums worried about whats in their kids packed lunch? mums get a life! im off for a fag.

i'm not middle class an am an unutterable bore. i have made packed lunches in he past and i consider healthy sandwiches 2 pieces of fruit, bottle of water and a bag of crisp - okay.

of course one should worry about the senior school their child goes to - it practically shapes a persons life chances

i think its how onc looks at these things - i 'lunch' with some middleclass mumsnetters and while there lives and lifestyles seemed quite distant from the life i led - they are just people - and fucking really nice people at that. As people - we unite in that we all have problems, health problems, money problems, recent berevement, special needs resources, children in general.

money can't solve these things - good friends help if pass a little better.

StealthPolarBear · 23/09/2007 21:26

i'm pointing and laughing in a middle class way

3andnomore · 23/09/2007 21:27
