admittedly, ive only been a member for a few months, but i have come to this conclusion. take today for instance. the main topic of conversation on this section is; parents of 5 year olds worried about which senior school to go to? on that thread is the biggest bore & snob you will ever have the misfortune to meet. this popular thread is closely followed by mums worried about whats in their kids packed lunch? mums get a life! im off for a fag.

actually i dont think you are here to support me, take the piss maybe, but not support me. someone can start a thread like " my friend called me fat" and your all "oh you poor thing" well maybe she is fat! but shes also middle class so worthy of support. i just dont understand you lot. i cant help being thick and working class, but id rather be me than you. and if someone in a supermarket made a comment on the cereal i was buying, id shove it up their arse, not come and cry to you lot about it!

i keep reading this title as middle class whores

ruty · 23/09/2007 21:50

[raises hand]

WideWebWitch · 23/09/2007 21:50

lol Lou

weeeeeell talullahhhhhh's mum, you know what, if you want support maybe don't tell people you think they're wankers first eh? Just a leetle bit of friendly advice.
(but I do still suspect a regular having a laugh here)

RustyBear · 23/09/2007 21:51

But unless you are a namechanger, you have never asked for support on anything - this is your one and only thread.

elesbells · 23/09/2007 21:52

talulasmum, im not middle class

does that make me qualified to help you?

StealthPolarBear · 23/09/2007 21:53

Is it lulumama?
Cos I can't actually see anyone else calling her a bully

Elasticwoman · 23/09/2007 21:54

It's always struck me what a mix of people there are on MN. Haven't noticed too many Upper Class Twits complaining that you can't get the staff or about death duties eating into Daddy's pile but they may be hiding.

There are plenty of Talulas who miss the point about a thread. EG: the one about what to put in lunchboxes was originally about whether the school is right to get involved in what goes in kids' lunchboxes. A much more political slant about liberty. Perhaps we need some more threads covering Equality and Fraternity, or rather Sisterhood. Sorry if some one already said that. I haven't read all the hundreds of posts on this one.

BTW Talulasmum, we're all middle class now, didn't you know? Unless you're Socially Excluded, and YOU'RE not because you have access to a computer.

kittywits · 23/09/2007 21:58

Hee Hee excellent quiz even though I am only 10% chav ( must be middle class ponce then) I have the fab name of jade-kaylah!!

3andnomore · 23/09/2007 21:59

Tallulasmum, I agree, seeing that this is your first thread you opened/took part in...how do you know that you would not get any support? Your thread was not about wanting support your thread was basically slagging the members of teh very forum you posted on, off....did you honestly expect much support?

Polarbear, it was't op that said about Lulu being a bully...but teh person that did say that, realsied their mistake and did apologize

Aitch · 23/09/2007 21:59

talula, you are reading what you want into things. the poster whose friend called her fat got sympathy but was then told by many people that she was being too tough on her pal.
and look, really, if you don't like it here you could just fuck off somewhere else. if you do like it here and want to make a name for yourself then congratulations, you have done. in fact, maybe you could be a friend for poor misunderstood haychee..? she's the most hated person on MN, you know...

Aitch · 23/09/2007 22:05

talulasmum, I am sorry to say I too incline to the belief that you are cod having a laugh...

women talk to each other about things. unless directly attacked, they tend not to shove it up peoples arse, they talk about it. much healthier, imo.

Nightynight · 23/09/2007 22:14

rofl 3....you have just had a moment of mumsnet fame worthy of ucm

3andnomore · 23/09/2007 22:16

lol...that'll teach me NOT to namechange...sigh...
