admittedly, ive only been a member for a few months, but i have come to this conclusion. take today for instance. the main topic of conversation on this section is; parents of 5 year olds worried about which senior school to go to? on that thread is the biggest bore & snob you will ever have the misfortune to meet. this popular thread is closely followed by mums worried about whats in their kids packed lunch? mums get a life! im off for a fag.

OP posts:
ruty · 23/09/2007 18:28

Called Cloud and Rodeo, ovbviously...

UCM · 23/09/2007 18:29

Oh fuck, I am going to play with the kids.

kiskidee · 23/09/2007 18:29

with 200+ posts already i am sure this has been said already but...

with a mn name like 'talulasmum', this is either a troll (by a seasoned mner) or a middleclass bore.

ruty · 23/09/2007 18:29

bad case of the munchies? you're not like the middle class dopeheads who hang around on my posh street corner are you Aitch?

kiskidee · 23/09/2007 18:29

alright, 300+ posts then.

Aitch · 23/09/2007 18:29

oh and eggs. free range, organic, un-dyed.

UCM · 23/09/2007 18:30

Aitch, couldn't leave until I had responded to your post stating that you buy bread out of Iceland.

I am shocked. I would have thought you would bake your own. Iceland sell truly shit bread.

lol at lulu being fat and a bully. Let this be known as the boring middle class thread that was actually the let's all be really mean to lulu thread.

lulu's breath smells.

thomcat · 23/09/2007 18:32

PMSL!
It's so funny.
I've been on other sites where it just didn't click for me but just never went back. Would never in a million years think to start a thread moaning that I didn't like it. What a really strange thing to do. It's only a website. IMO one full of lots of very interesting people and their views from all over the place.
I've found it to be really interesting, helpful, supportive and so on. But if that's not the case for you, then just walk away.
It's like walking into a pub and having 150 groups all sat round having a chat. Some will be interesting to you, some won't. Some people you'll warm to others you'll dislike instantly.
What's the problem. People are free to chat about what they like, middle class conversation or working class, whatever, you don't have to enjoy / agree / like / join in with it all, or any of it you know.

UCM · 23/09/2007 18:32

Aitch I think I am getting you mixed up with Moony.

If someone calls their child 'Tallulah', they are forward thinking. At least 'Tallulah' isn't old fashioned, in fact it's the sort of name that was fashioned when you were pissed in the pub sort of thing.

iliketosleep · 23/09/2007 18:33

lmfao its so funny, someone wants a reaction and they get one, your like a pack of wolves you crazy loopy angry ladies

Oh and ive only read the OP's

OrmIrian · 23/09/2007 18:33

But it isn't Tallulah is it though...It's Talula....

3andnomore · 23/09/2007 18:34

Aitch...I think Iceland doesn't have anyhting free range and /or organic here...you must be living in a far better area then, so, they know it is demanded...
not fair though!

oh yeah and i live in one of the best areas in my city, and im scum what does that make me??

OrmIrian · 23/09/2007 18:35

I seem to remember that Iceland was one of the first supermarkets to bring in organic ranges at a 'normal' price. A few years back.

StrawberryMartini · 23/09/2007 18:35

I think some of you clearly need to take this test.

Aitch · 23/09/2007 18:40

iceland is pretty go-ahead, actually. the guy who owns (or manages, i can't remember) it keeps chickens himself, so he was one of the first retailers to stop feeding chickens those weird coloured foods to make the yolks yellow.

also he made all of iceland's own brand frozen veggies organic and at no extra charge, but hilariously they had to stop doing it because people automatically assumed that it was more expensive and stopped buying it.

and i said emergency bread and veg, it wouldn't be my first choice but they sel those funny little seeded rolls that you keep in the freezer and do in the oven for ten mins.

it's just down the road from where we live and open until 10, i love it. oh, and cheap dishwasher tabs, bin bags, washing liquids and powders. not own brand, just cheaper than morrisons etc. and fish fingers, fgs. i love iceland.

iliketosleep · 23/09/2007 18:40
