admittedly, ive only been a member for a few months, but i have come to this conclusion. take today for instance. the main topic of conversation on this section is; parents of 5 year olds worried about which senior school to go to? on that thread is the biggest bore & snob you will ever have the misfortune to meet. this popular thread is closely followed by mums worried about whats in their kids packed lunch? mums get a life! im off for a fag.

TM, I had a similar reaction to you (ie what am i doing here?)when looking at other 'baby' sites, mainly because i couldn't bear the sentimental, cloying nonsense posted there but each to their own etc etc and much easier just to find another site. haychee, am new to MN so i may have misinterpreted your post but some of us can't help being middle class ponces. ..not sure it's the biggest crime in the world

elesbells · 23/09/2007 18:50

hi tinton, good post.

welcome you old ponce

ScottishMummy · 23/09/2007 18:53

i thought middle Class and Chavvy were diametrically opposites, was not aware one could be both

Slubberdegullion · 23/09/2007 18:54

OK I just need to get this straight as I am an achingly middle class, terribly concerned about what people think, desperate to be liked an accepted by the nice PLU's here.

I like lulumama she is lovely. I have no idea of what size she is or how she smells but in my imagination she is svelt and fragrant.

WotsZePoint · 23/09/2007 18:54

snorts coffee through nose at reading lulu could possibly be a bully.

Theres no debating kerry katona is a plonker, but wtf has that to do with Iceland. She did a few adverts for it, its not like she owns the place! I think Iceland is a good shop whoever has a problem with it is missing out on the bargains!

daisyandbabybootoo · 23/09/2007 19:14

its all probably moved on a bit since i last stopped and i haven't refresged, but just had to say this..

...haychee, I doubt that more than a handful of MNers even know you exist.....

surely most hated MNer would go to someone a bit more prolific and outspoken on all subjects areas?

PrincessGoodLife · 23/09/2007 19:14

I reckon I'm more boring than 100x. I am quite amazingly boring, and have got even more so since producing children.

And after many years of attempting to disguise my essential poshness, have to admit to being middle-class. Erk.

2mum · 23/09/2007 19:39

Im not middle class but im boring. I cant spontaneously go and do something. My life revolves around my kids so i reckon everyone gets a bit boring after having kids. We`re all in the same boat.

theUrbanDryad · 23/09/2007 19:41

i'm 23% chav!! and my chav name is Alisha-Chelsea Rose!
