admittedly, ive only been a member for a few months, but i have come to this conclusion. take today for instance. the main topic of conversation on this section is; parents of 5 year olds worried about which senior school to go to? on that thread is the biggest bore & snob you will ever have the misfortune to meet. this popular thread is closely followed by mums worried about whats in their kids packed lunch? mums get a life! im off for a fag.

Is that that chequered stuff that my shopping trolley material is made of. If so, yes.

elesbells · 23/09/2007 18:20

Like that, but without the metal bits and the plastic

and no wheels

OrmIrian · 23/09/2007 18:20

haychee - I don't hate you. Sorry.

As for shopping being a class ishoo. That proves my point. I don't want to be a 'class' and refuse to accept that I am and I shop everywhere! A retail tart in fact.

ScottishMummy · 23/09/2007 18:21

for what its worth lulumama posts on a regular basis, and we do not necessarily always agree but i find her eloquent, passionate about her opinions, but not bullying.

elesbells · 23/09/2007 18:21

at the thought of you pulling your burberry shopping trolley around lidl

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 18:21

I'm a bore. I bore myself a great deal. I think I would bore the OP and haychee too given half a chance. We can have a Boring Challenge Thread.

I'm good though, I warn you.

mumclaire · 23/09/2007 18:22

Read the op and can't be bothered to read the rest cos its all too middle class and boring!!!
I happen to be middle class and proud of it (there I said it!!) Freely admit that I am - I live in mc area and therefore have mc friends - is this a crime??? Not sure about the boring bit but probably am but again what wrong with that???
I come on mumsnet and especially the aibu thread precisely so I can get a wide variety of views that are different. Surely thats the point of mumsnet??

3andnomore · 23/09/2007 18:23

100...you are most certainly NOT boring....lol at the thought of that...

2mum · 23/09/2007 18:23

Im not going to comment too much on this thread as its too long to read it all! I just want to say there is a lot of ridiculing on this website especially about chavs. Im not a chav but possibly a bit chavvy! I dont like people getiing slagged off whether they are a chav or a snob.

elesbells · 23/09/2007 18:23

but are you a middle class bore ahundred? thats the question.

Aitch · 23/09/2007 18:23

LOL. exactly, hunker, cod... how dare this jumped-up newbie think she's more hated than them..?
i wonder if her dd is called talula btw?

UCM · 23/09/2007 18:23

Lulumama is most deffo not a bully. She is fat too nice and just isn't. Dunno who said that as I can't be bothered to read the whole lot but whoever said that is a bit bonkers.

Now, Greensleeves or Hunker will call you a cunt to yer face, I like that.

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 18:24

Oh yes 3andnomore, I can promise you that there is no end to my tedium.

Aitch · 23/09/2007 18:25

lulu is fat?!

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 18:25

Elsbells - this may sound outlandish, but I honestly think I can bore across the classes.

i do.

I'm a sort of incredibly tiring and droning class warrior.

elesbells · 23/09/2007 18:26

pmsl at fat

UCM · 23/09/2007 18:26

Els, I can't actually believe that anyone shops in Iceland after hearing the squeaky voice of that daft bird.

Oh and Essex is a bit posh now by the way, they have Boden adverts on Essex FM.

I can see Boden going the way of Ratners

UCM · 23/09/2007 18:27

far far far far, you orrible girls

ruty · 23/09/2007 18:27

has lulumama heard that yet?

Blandmum · 23/09/2007 18:27

UCM, was that you calling lulu fat????

Run, run to the hills woman.

ruty · 23/09/2007 18:28

LOL at Boden going the way of Ratners. All we need is Johnny to let slip his clothes are a pile of tat dressed up by posh kids....

ahundredtimes · 23/09/2007 18:28

I can bore in three different languages.

I can bore across borders and through time.

How boring is this?

Aitch · 23/09/2007 18:28

i really do shop in iceland by the way. it's a great shop. milk's cheap and organic, yog, cheese, emergency bread and veg, pasta is fine and for a bad case of the munchies, it's second-to-none.
