Three things you love about yourself...

In light of the skinny vs fat threads, and all the doom and gloom going on in the world, I would like you to put three things you love about yourself!

Don't be modest, it could be a physical attribute, a talent you have, or the fact you make an amazing mushroom risotto. Anything really.

I'll go first:

1. I have really full, perfect rosebud lips and straight white teeth. I love my smile in red lipstick!
2. I've been told I'm very eloquent - I can say in 3 words what everyone else says in 100
3. I throw a really good dinner party. When I actually make some effort it turns out I can cook. Top dish is a beef and red wine stew with wholegrain mash.

Hoping I get some replies or I will feel incredibly big headed 😂

1. My voice - professionally this is an asset as I am told I put people at ease.
2. I am resilient- important to say as sometimes difficult to be aware of as I brush myself off from yet another curve ball aka Covid.
3. I write strong letters that advocate on behalf of others.

Good skin
Ability to read the room
Great with animals

I love this thread, it's always good to make yourself feel good

No great physical traits though!

I'm hilarious, I have green eyes, I can say No to the things I don't want to do.

I am really kind, got a really young face and l can make a mean beef wellington!

I'll go with, I'm a very loving Mother ( to human and fur babies!)
I appreciate the ability of taking the mick out of myself
I'm not massively house proud - I appreciate some would see this as a black mark, but I've grown to realise that fun, friends and family are much more important than cleaning.

I have a very sharp wit, and can make anyone laugh like a drain
I'm great in a crisis, and can operate smoothly without falling apart under stress
I'm also hot as fuck

I can see through bullshit at 100 metres.
I have exceptional talent for languages.
I never let myself be intimidated.

I have the best, most varied collection of fabulous pyjamas, robes and house slippers.

I can create my own happiness.

I can rely on myself.

I have the most perfect of shoulders with a teeny bump and good clavicles

My ears are exquisite = shell like and flat to my head

I make people laugh

I can sit to the bounciest of trots (horse related!!)

Great thread. Taken me some time to think about this - which is a great thing to do! Thank you for making me think about my good stuff for a change

Very resilient, see the positive in pretty much anything and bounce back from tough stuff very quickly

I have beautiful collarbones, shoulders and decolletage. Especially with a bit of a tan. Even I can see that it's very sexy bit of me

1. I am good at giving presentations, chairing meetings, running workshops etc. I can get on with most work folk and they mostly seem to like me.
2. I have lovely ankles, feet, hands and wrists.
3. I can read faster than anyone I've ever met.

• I am very calm in a crisis, i can switch off my emotions completely in an emergency and make calm rational decisions (then go to pieces a few days later )

• I am loyal and stick up for my friends

• I am a big strong woman, and it has taken me years to learn to love this and to stop wishing for dainty-ness and being petite ...at 6ft it ain’t gonna happen.

1. I am fiercely loyal.
2. I don't take shit anymore.
3. I give my all to things like relationships.

I have to admit, I found thinking of three things difficult.

I am a good and loving mother.

I think very quickly and can articulate my thoughts well as I go along - I enjoy being in my own mind and putting things very quickly together.

I never get bored. In lockdown particularly I have realised what a blessing that is and how unusual.

Very nice idea for a thread OP. Although it's making me jealous of all these people with tumbling heads of natural flaming red curls I have finally got a hairdressers appointment booked in next month and I can't wait to go back to my adopted colour, lockdown has been a chastening reminder of my mousey reality!!

• I am naturally happy, optimistic with good mental health. Coming from a family full of angst and some debilitating mental health issues I really appreciate that.

Calm is my naturally setting- particularly in a crisis

I have great, really low maintaince hair.

So many things I don't like about myself but I should be aware I'm very lucky.

Like my dark eyes and thick dark hair (not many greys and nearly 50 😉)
Good at impressions and accents which my children seem to find funny
Am a loyal and trustworthy friend

I like reading these, everyone has some special about them.

My sense of humour is great, if I may say so! I'm really quite quick witted and my sense of humour has made me many friends over the years.

I've got a pretty face which is good. The rest of my body is pretty shit, size 24/26 but because of my face, I get noticed by men and I'm confident with my looks and body on the whole.

I'm caring by nature. I hate to see people upset. Sometimes I think I'm too caring and that's detrimental because I find it hard to walk away from toxic people if I feel they may feel hurt by my actions.
