What is your biggest lifestyle indulgence?

Mulling this over as I look through job listings. I think for me it is enjoying fitness classes at different expensive studios, well pre covid it was. Not sure when we will be able to do that again! But I really enjoy it so much and it is definitely not an essential, I'm fortunate to be able to do so. We do live in an eye-wateringly expensive area so I guess that is partly a luxury, although we do need to live in this city for my partner's work.

What would you say is the most luxury aspect of your lifestyle?

I do miss eating out too. Thoroughly sick of cooking at home, even though we're both quite handy in the kitchen and make nice stuff.

Horse here too. Money pit.

Used to be fast cars too but those days are long gone!

I expect DD will want a pony soon and then quite frankly I’ll have to sell all my body parts...

As with PP, my elderly cat is probably one of my most expensive lifestyle choices (though he is worth every penny). Otherwise I am pretty boring - weekly yoga classes and the odd incredibly gorgeous and likely expensive item of clothing.

The rest I plough into savings, investments and pensions. Particularly now - goodness only knows what will happen to my job (seems secure but...).

Sorry about your horse @notever. Worth every penny but they can break your heart.

I've never been a yachtsman but have several friends who are.
The tell me that owning a boat is; "Like standing in a cold shower tearing up twenty-pound notes".

Oh god, too many things I indulge in if I'm honest.
Holidays, eating out, expensive car, beauty treatments and products, clothes.
Lockdown has actually helped me realise there are many more important things in life.

Atm it’s the house, we’ve just moved into our self build and we’re spending lot of ££ on the furnishings.

Previous to that it’s been holidays, we love to travel and that’s where all the spare cash was going.

Ditto horse and 2 dogs - have helped enormously with coping with lockdown and kept me sane.

Can live without people but not my animals...….!

Luxurious ski holidays.
Getting nails done.
Wine.
Going shopping every Wednesday before work.

I suppose having a cleaner and getting my nails done regularly. I do like a splurge, recently forked out over £200 in Charlotte Tilbury skincare. I'm not averse to treating myself tbh!

At the moment ordering nice filter coffee to drink at home. And a Zwift subscription (virtual cycling game for those who don't know it, I can go into my garage and cycle in London or Innsbruck or New York, among other places).

In "normal" times, using a personal trainer I suppose.

My monthly beauty box which is about £10 per month, I used to get 2 but down to 1 now.
I have about 5 pairs of irregular choice shoes that I rarely wear, which feels indulgent as they're more than I would usually spend on shoes.

Food, wine and eating out for me and DH.

Clothes and beauty for me (not treatments but scent, skincare, bath etc).

Sailing for DS.

Riding for DD, (just in the process of buying a horse and livery).

Tech, and multiple food-based hobbies for DH.

Travel for us all.

DH and I like a performance car too!

I suppose I spend a lot on media too, newspaper and magazine subscriptions and books.

Travel. We travel abroad 5-6 times a year and in the UK a few times too. Or we did. Sad

A nice car's always a pleasure AF. I enjoy a powerful motor, a solid build and COMFORT, I'm too old for jalopies.

It's not a massive indulgence, but the 'luxury' I would miss the most if I had to give it up is Pepsi Max - I'm well and truly addicted.
