To ask where you are getting your summer wardrobe?!

I have just made 4 ASOS orders and sent every single item back. The quality is shocking. I want some casual summer dresses. Some good quality maxis (sleeveless) and some lightweight broderie? Any ideas?? Honestly I’m appalled by ASOS!

I don’t have any ideas , sorry. I’m just wearing the summer clothes I had last year ( and a few more years besides!)

Zara have some great bits in! And river Island for tops at the minute.

Thurmanmurman · 01/06/2020 19:19

I'm not bothering, just wearing last years. Don't want to spend money on clothes when I can't go anywhere decent to wear the!

Curiosity101 · 01/06/2020 19:22

I'm a big fan of Quiz. I also buy ASDA and Sainburys clothing. I used to shop a lot at Dorothy Perkins but that's a bit more hit and miss now.

ToothFairyNemesis · 01/06/2020 19:24

I am just wearing short legged pjs, clean ones each morning. They are cotton, comfortable and I haven’t left the house for 75 days.

ForInstance · 01/06/2020 19:25

From my wardrobe...

lorn195 · 01/06/2020 19:29

@Thurmanmurman I totally agree. I'm working from home until at least until September so wearing mainly shorts and T-shirts. If (and it's a big if) I do go back to the office I have plenty of summer skirts and tops.

LonnyVonnyWilsonFrickett · 01/06/2020 19:29

Monsoon had a half price sale on summer dresses yesterday so I treated myself. Really want a couple of new floaty skirts but can't see anything I like for a price I'm willing to pay.

TacosTuesday · 01/06/2020 19:41

Sainsburys/Tu have got some lovely summer clothes, just ordered dresses and a jumpsuit as well as tees - all really good quality and lovely. I also like run and fly for their prints but popular ones sell out super fast.

mummyof2boys30 · 01/06/2020 19:55

Sorry to jump on your thread but anyone seen flattering shorts. I've lost 2 stone and can finally wear shorts again

CostaCosta · 01/06/2020 19:56

Dorothy perkins

Sezane have the most beautiful clothes but they're pricey. I also like &OtherStories, Free People and Daily Sleeper.
The only other place I've seen anything I've liked is Zara. I bought a mint maxi dress with huge ruffle sleeves from there last week x

EmmaGrundyForPM · 01/06/2020 19:59

From the loft. Which is where I put them.last October.
Do people seriously buy a whole new wardrobe worth of clothes each season?

FudgeBrownie2019 · 01/06/2020 20:02

H&M have some lovely shorts and sleeveless tops for summer. I've just had some delivered and they're all so lovely I've had to keep them all.

I've had some great summer dresses from Gap and the quality is very good

Titsywoo · 01/06/2020 20:06

I also just got some very decent dresses from Shein. Anything in a viscous/jersey/tshirt fabric is very comfy and pretty flattering. Quality isn't amazing but much better than stuff I've had from H&M and a similar price.

Givemeyourbunsandyourbiscuits · 01/06/2020 20:07

I would agree with the others who have said from the wardrobe as it’s ridiculously wasteful to buy new clothes every year, however I’ve put on a stone of lockdown weight Blush so am living in the same two pairs of shorts and 1 dress

ChockyBicky · 01/06/2020 20:08

I've just cut some old skinny jeans to make shorts and turn them up twice at the bottom nobody can tell and mainly just wearing vest tops with them as I'm only in the garden.

BestZebbie · 01/06/2020 20:10

A box of tops from Lost Stock and last year’s stuff (which is actually largely from our last big holiday, in 2017...)
