To ask where you are getting your summer wardrobe?!

I have just made 4 ASOS orders and sent every single item back. The quality is shocking. I want some casual summer dresses. Some good quality maxis (sleeveless) and some lightweight broderie? Any ideas?? Honestly I’m appalled by ASOS!

Out of the wardrobe. Trying not to buy anything this year.

Samtsirch · 01/06/2020 21:20

Next
White stuff
Fat face.
I only buy a few bits each year for best though, as I keep clothes for years ( decades🤣).
I am mostly only dog walking at the moment anyway so I don’t mind wearing clothes from the past, lol.

H&M and Zara mostly. I was a big fan of Oasis too so gutted its gone. New look has a few midi/maxi dresses that I like but most of there stuff is aimed at a younger generation now. I've also bought a few cheap throw it on on the garden thins from Shein but it's very hit and miss with quality and sizing.

Icansmellburningleaves, try SeaSalt. The T shirts are a bit more expensive but you can't see through them, they are a generous cuts and wash reallywell.

Rosiejim · 01/06/2020 21:24

@Artartart

I haven’t ever bought any Sainsbury’s clothes but their “super soft” knickers are pretty much the best thing going!

Uniqlo - I discovered them in January, and really like everything I've bought from them, excellent quality.
Really detailed sizing on the website for each garment (eg the width of the leg at the ankle for each style) - and the sizing has been extremely consistent.

@Rosiejim
I'm looking for a friend code but can't find one 😢
I'm 5'7"
I also have last year's Kensington dresses and love them too for light dresses.
I will keep searching for a friend code.

Thanks for checking @spagbog5 but don’t go out of your way! I’m definitely going to buy that navy one at least! Thanks again for the pointer!

I always get a few bits from Uniqlo if I need any new clothes. Quality and price are excellent.

I'm 5 foot and shrinking - if I wore one of those dresses I would end up with a train Grin
