That barks a lot. Still a puppy so should I be worried it's going to get worse, or could it actually get better?

I know beagles are known for being noisy which makes me question their breed choice considering we live in Edwardian maisonettes in SW London, ie, close together!

The irony is, they used to complain bitterly about their upstairs neighbour before the left.

What about when they both go back to work!!

Aibu to get this to stop ASAP?

Oh my lord I feel your pain. I'm noise sensitive and this world is full of selfish arseholes that make life intolerable. I had to move before because of barking dogs. Today I was woken at 6.30am by some idiot going round and round on a motorbike. There seems to be this attitude these days of "as long as I'm ok fuck everyone else" it makes things hard.

You have every right to push to have the dog removed, you have the right to a peaceful home and they do not have any rights to a noisy, high needs dog in a flat!!

i know there is a devise that is supposed to be effective at stopping dogs from barking ,not sure how it works , friend of mine lives next door to a couple of little yappers, every time she is in her garden they can probably here her and just never stop. mentioning it to the owners doesnt work , they just say, well dogs bark dont they , so my friend has bought one of these devises, it will be interesting to see what happens

I don't think dog owners are aware how far sound carries. We have to live next door (detached house) to a dog that barks every time someone goes in the garden, walks past etc etc. It drives me up the fucking wall. The owner's response is "barking is what dogs do".

I feel your pain OP.

Update is 'they're training' it to have time away from them before they go back to work. Which is basically like cry it out.. meaning I have to listen to solid barking for over an hour each day.

What about if this doesn't work? And when they're at work, what do I do?

It also sets the dog in their upstairs neighbours off. So it's a dog concerto.

So annoying

Is the dog still barking so early in the morning? Did they say anything about what they're going to do when they go back to work?
