WIBU to wear no underwear with a long dress?

Not the perv troll (check my posting history, I've been around for years).

I want to go out for a walk today. I've had some skin issues down there and whilst I've been at home, wearing no underwear and loose pyjamas obviously hasn't been a problem. But it's nice and I have a day off work and I want to get out.

If I wear a long (patterned) dress, that should be ok shouldn't it? It's not particularly breezy. I have no intention of becoming the Hampstead Heath flasher. I'm just not sure it's acceptable in public...

Go commando.

Magicra84 · 27/05/2020 11:14

I wear a long skirt and don't wear knickers with it. I was walking round the park yesterday getting some lovely fresh air to my vag. Lovely!

Lockheart · 27/05/2020 11:14

Well it looks like the biker shorts will do the job, so happily this isn't something I have to to-and-fro on anymore.

It seems for some people it's quite normal but I'm not even brave enough to never wear a bra.

Around the house, yes. If going out - no.

I have no wish for a fiendish gust of wind to show the world my nethers!

My imagination further adds that obviously Nelson from The Simpsons would be there to point and shout ”HaHa” Confused

Likefootball · 27/05/2020 11:17

Go for it! Nothing wrong with being comfortable.

TheStuffedPenguin · 27/05/2020 11:19

Is it pants day today on MN ?

PurpleTalkingTrees · 27/05/2020 11:20

It’s fine, one radio station in a large city I used to live in years ago regularly encouraged its listeners to have “no undie Monday”. Why not?

manitobajane · 27/05/2020 11:22

Is this because your DH is wearing your underwear?

Lockheart · 27/05/2020 11:24

@BissueTox to be fair that would be quite funny.

@manitobajane I'm sorry, I don't follow. I'm not married and my partner is in America...

I got married with no underwear on. I was a size 8 and it was a very fitted clingy dress and any underwear showed so I didn't wear any. Didn't cause any problems and I can't see an issue.

Timekeeper1 · 27/05/2020 11:30

Is it really hygienic? Women have normal discharge throughout their cycles. It just seems, ew icky to me. I couldn't go commando when I have the clear discharge or the viscous ovulating discharge. I am always amazed that on the odd occasion women talk about not wearing undies, they never give any thought to that obvious issue.

Timekeeper1 · 27/05/2020 11:32

Though if I can get away with it I do go out without a bra on. Not in the summer, but in winter under jumpers I can get away with it.

StCharlotte · 27/05/2020 11:32

Well if Katie Boyle could do it in front of the whole of Europe...

Destroyedpeople · 27/05/2020 11:33

It will be fine go commando

thegreylady · 27/05/2020 11:37

I am elderly and often wear no knickers under a long skirt provided the material isn’t flimsy. It is comfortable and healthy.

terrelontane · 27/05/2020 11:41

I know some MNetters don't get the idea of 'airing' their vag, but I am a fan.

mrsBtheparker · 27/05/2020 11:42

I have my commando frock, voluminous cheesecloth, that I wear for gardening, my grandson, 8 now, was fascinated that I'd been in the commandos, last summer before the rightgeous dip their nibs in corona-bile. His older sisters were rolling on the floor laughing!

MeninSuits · 27/05/2020 11:43

That and a thong thread today - hairy hands are out in full force today

Wank away- you sad little people.

Everyone else- keep on fueling them- throw in periods for good measure (oh I can see that someone has)

Lockheart · 27/05/2020 11:48

@MeninSuits check my post history if you like. I'm not trolling. I've been around on this site since 2012 (although had a different name pre-Jeffrey).

mencken · 27/05/2020 11:50

there are probably thousands of women doing this, and unless there is a bizarre situation with a ladder, a gust of wind, an unplanned somersault etc no one will ever know.

generally we try to make sure our knickers aren't visible. That means not wearing any will similarly not be visible.

Mary1935 · 27/05/2020 11:52

It’s a nice feeling, go for it. I did it with a demon knee length skirt the other day - no chance of that blowing up!!

Sarahlou63 · 27/05/2020 11:53

I only wear underwear if I'm going to the doctor (for relevant reasons) or if I'm having my legs waxed. I owe the grand total of 2 pairs of knickers!!

handbagsatdawn33 · 27/05/2020 11:56

There's a risk of sootikins.

wantmorenow · 27/05/2020 11:56

No Biggie. No knickers totally fine. No-one will know and it's healthy.

MeninSuits · 27/05/2020 11:57

I was not suggesting that you were trolling. I was saying that this type of thread attracts people with a fetish.
