Just seem it on the DM online ( I know I know) - I'm just surprised during these times of social distancing etc that this happened.
I've lived in Kent and can confirm we are all respectable, RP speaking, home counties residing respectable pillars of the community...

Reading this out loud to my husband who is from Medway literally wetting ourselves at the comments!

He escaped as soon as he could to uni in the Midlands and never went back. He often gets comments from his family about how far "north" we are (we are in the West Midlands) and how cheap it is to live here (our area is about 30% more expensive) how bad the crime rate must be (he's from bloody Gillingham!)

Anywhere north of South Mimms services on the M25 is just another world. Thank God.

Kentishman born & bred here. The above statement does not apply east of the Medway. Rough as badgers the Men of Kent.

I have so many fond memories of wandering through Whitstable in a soggy wetsuit to get chips for lunch. As we got a bit older, sticking our heads through the door of the off licence for some reasonably priced Becks to wash them down with 😂
