Me? My 4 yr ds has gone to sleep before 4am for the first time in about 8 weeks, I'm enjoying the quiet!!!! I will regret it at 7ish when 11month dd gets up, but did it I've not had more than 3 hrs sleep for 2 months so what difference does it make??

Currently supporting OH who is miles away by his DM bedside. She has terminal cancer and is at the very end stage.

I used to work as a HCA specialising in palliative care so I'm trying to use my skills with that support. So much sadness for many I know this week - multiple cancer, my own DF who beat coronavirus at 75 yet has been left with series life changing complications, very poor mental health in many of my friends and myself, and my poor boss who I am helping to come up with ideas to stop the business going bust.

Can we start 2020 again please? I want a redo 😔

@StewPots is she in a hospice or at home?

It does seem like a bad time at the moment, I've been unusually down

caringcarer · 28/05/2020 03:23

I have insomnia. I usually only sleep for 4 hours a night.

I’m working as I have a deadline tomorrow and two more on Friday. I’m bloody knackered 😴😴 Thinking of calling it a day very soon

Sending love and Flowers to all who need it.

I'm awake because I'm a night owl and have just extricated myself from writing new website content.

Both my daughters are critical care nurses. My eldest collapsed on duty and was sent home with high temp. Swab shows she doesn’t have Covid. Spoke to her on the phone , she’s exhausted and feeling like shit but she’s OK. I can’t sleep. I work for the NHS too. I just want this to be over.

I don't sleep that well at the best of times, but currently enduring the delights of a Taylor Spatial Frame on my leg. One of the pins is quite near a nerve which results in an twitchy sort of tingle. The feeling builds and builds and feels like my leg is having an orgasm. Happens about 3 or 4 times a night.

sashh · 28/05/2020 05:30

I'm always awake early, 6am is a lie in.

StewPots · 28/05/2020 10:08

@leicester5 she's at home now, she was in hospital but was keen to get to her own space.

OH is sharing responsibility with his DB and Sis and doing 3 hourly stunts through the night now. Such a sad time for all.
