Me? My 4 yr ds has gone to sleep before 4am for the first time in about 8 weeks, I'm enjoying the quiet!!!! I will regret it at 7ish when 11month dd gets up, but did it I've not had more than 3 hrs sleep for 2 months so what difference does it make??

I’ve been awake all night due to my lifelong inability to sleep at night I will probably fall asleep about 7am and be awake again between midday and 1pm.

Rosebel · 27/05/2020 01:33

Yet another sleepless night. Can't stand it much longer. Anyone else?

IntoTheUnknown89 · 27/05/2020 01:35

Me!

IntoTheUnknown89 · 27/05/2020 01:36

Mulling over anything and everything. Debating eating again.

Disquieted1 · 27/05/2020 01:39

E
Me too! Eventually the booze will kick in and I'll go to bed, but if I'm not utterly exhausted I don't sleep.

Spanielmadness · 27/05/2020 01:42

I foolishly had 2 cups of caffeinated tea earlier and I’m wide awake. Despite 8 mile run and 1.5 hour dog walk during the day..........

TylluanBach · 27/05/2020 01:43

Yes, awake. Damned insomnia along with a few financial worries. Sad

Babyboomtastic · 27/05/2020 01:43

I'm supposed to be working tomorrow morning whilst my husband looks after the kids (including frequent waking baby). I've decided to work through the night instead and then sleep in during the morning as I'll get better sleep that way.

TylluanBach · 27/05/2020 01:44

Also walked miles today so should be knackered. Wish there was an off switch for the brain.

SquashedSpring · 27/05/2020 01:45

I have insomnia so I'm awake for most of the night.

Pe0plePr0cessss · 27/05/2020 01:51

Nightshift

PervyMuskrat · 27/05/2020 01:53

Because I need this space to breathe

IntoTheUnknown89 · 27/05/2020 01:59

@PervyMuskrat Me too

Rosebel · 27/05/2020 02:02

I need to be up at 7 tomorrow as I have a hospital appointment. I'm sick of not sleeping at night but as a family there's a lot going on and can't relax properly. My husband has started snoring again too, fantastic!
I understand about having a bit of space and time for yourself though. Good idea to work now and sleep later if it works better.

Ipadipod · 27/05/2020 02:05

I’m wide awake worrying about a court case , I have a feeling my legal representative hasn’t submitted my case to the courts and they’ve missed the deadline but aren’t telling me.

NorthernBirdAtHeart · 27/05/2020 02:09

Back pain, waiting for painkillers to kick in whilst sat in my very quiet garden

georgie279 · 27/05/2020 02:09

Loosing the will to live... 11 month old very rarely sleeps in her own cot most nights, if she wakes she screams until she's in bed with us then most of the time falls straight back to sleep... but sometimes, like tonight she's just wide awake! I have to bring her down so at least one of us gets sleep... she's still wide awake now Sad one night it was 4am ... I'm so tired I could cry.

VirginWestCoast · 27/05/2020 02:11

Very stupidly got into a Twitter argument a few hours ago and now have that horrible anxious feeling I get when I forget that Twitter is not a natural way to communicate with people and that, really, nothing good is going to come of engaging in it.

Also, really bad period with stomach cramps and sore boobs. Cannot get comfortable at all.

Wincarnis · 27/05/2020 02:14

Insomnia, too hot, and sad because an old friend has died.

KTyoupigeon · 27/05/2020 02:15

Slept earlier after taking migraine meds so now wide awake - thankfully no young children or any need to get up early tomorrow unless the blasted cat wakes me at 6am wanting his breakfast!

Worstyear2020 · 27/05/2020 02:28

I can't be the only one who kept awake because of hayfever? Confused

Newbie1999 · 27/05/2020 02:29

1yo awake, full of wind, can’t get rid of it.

Disquieted1 · 27/05/2020 02:31

@georgie279

I know that you don't want to hear this, but we've all been there and it will, eventually, get better. Pretty tough right now though.

As for the rest of you insomniacs, well...you're screwed. Wretched isn't it?

strawberry2017 · 27/05/2020 02:34

Had to come to hospital. Gave birth 3 weeks ago and tonight had a lot of heavy bleeding and passed a lot of disgusting clots so they wanted me to come and be checked.
Currently drinking not chocolate and eating bourbons whilst I wait for the doctor.

user1471453601 · 27/05/2020 02:35

@Rosebel, me. It's fairly new for me it started a couple of weeks ago. I think its my inactivity because of lockdown. I'm taking some kind of weird comfort from reading Insomnia, by Steven King. At least I'm not seeing small bald doctors, yet.
