How on earth is that going to go?

Badly for him, hopefully 🤞

PurpleDaisies · 25/05/2020 12:53

When is this happening?

IntermittentParps · 25/05/2020 12:53

Shit, really?

Lucywilde · 25/05/2020 12:54

He’ll probably come out with some completely made up shit or trot out an apology. Hopefully it’s his resignation.

pontypridd · 25/05/2020 12:55

It’s on the Guardian live thread

No time given yet as far as I can see

I see absolutely no point in this. We know what he did and the reasons why he did it. The questions to be asked should be directed at Boris Johnson. We don't actually care what Dominic Cummings thinks as he isn't running the country or is he? Confused

custodiandiscount · 25/05/2020 12:56

And what if it does go badly? Neither he nor his skivvy in no.10 could care less what people thing. Boris didn't give a shit about proroguing parliament and lying to the Queen.

They think they are untouchable and people voted for them don't seem to care.

FloggingMoll · 25/05/2020 12:57

Why the fuck is he taking questions? He's an advisor, we shouldn't even know who he is much less grant him air time

FancyARoot · 25/05/2020 12:57

I keep getting this image...

Cummings is taking questions later today
CodenameVillanelle · 25/05/2020 13:01

Agree with @GreekOddess. IDGAF what Cummings says about why he did it. The point is that he did, and the PM decided it didn't matter and he was ok to break the rules/law when everybody else would get punished for the same. The PM is the one who needs to answer questions.

siblingrevelryagain · 25/05/2020 13:04

He’ll be trying to vye for sympathy by blaming his son’s autism

He’s an arrogant fucker

Blennyfish · 25/05/2020 13:05

@FancyARoot OMG brilliant 🤣

FOJN · 25/05/2020 13:06

Who from? If it's a press conference situation then I do hope they press you their job.

BoingBoingyBoing · 25/05/2020 13:06

I couldn't give a fuck what that little goblin has to say for himself.

LonginesPrime · 25/05/2020 13:07

Hopefully it’s his resignation

If it were that, he'd be making a statement - I can't imagine him taking questions in the knowledge he's resigning at the end of them.

If this is true, the fact that he's taking questions means DS is even more deluded about public opinion than I thought - I just can't understand why he's clinging on like this. It's so undignified and selfish.

Fallsballs · 25/05/2020 13:07

He has to take the questions himself as he can’t trust the other baboons to get his lie right.

SuperlativeScrubs · 25/05/2020 13:07

Baffles me how he is going to excuse it.

If he was well enough to drive hundreds of miles to take his son to his parents he was well enough to look after the kid in the first place.

ElizabethG81 · 25/05/2020 13:08

This could be epic. Most people don't know much about him, so seeing him in his full glory, probably telling reporters to fuck off and that everybody except him is stupid and should just shut up, will be quite enlightening for them. I just wish they'd tell us what time it's on so I can plan my afternoon.

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 25/05/2020 13:09

If he's taking questions all that says is that he ain't going anywhere.

ineedaholidaynow · 25/05/2020 13:10

I so hope it goes badly for him, he is an odious little toad, but I am sure it won't change anything.

TidyDancer · 25/05/2020 13:10

I'll watch it because it'll be classic car crash tv but I'm not expecting anything revelatory from it. They've already used his sons autism as the latest lie so what more can he wheel out?

Fallsballs · 25/05/2020 13:11

We shall see exactly how clever Mr Cuntings is. It will be interesting to see if he can wriggle out of this.

Bloke23 · 25/05/2020 13:11

Cant stand the bloke, but the media calling him to resign, has anyone seen the video with all the journalists at his house all on top of each other with no social distancing

Leicester5 · 25/05/2020 13:12

That's...unusual.

I know he's clever and a strategist but it's highly confusing. Other people are intelligent as well he's not irreplaceable.

So who is our leader then? If he staged a coup I wouldn't be half surprised and we'd all have to bow down to our new master.

But this is supposed to be England though.
