New thread to continue previous one, hope you don't mind original OP!

Will he go though? Probably not.

SophieB100 · 24/05/2020 16:52

I think he should @The80sweregreat, otherwise it undermines the whole message of lockdown. But I have a feeling Boris will support him (for now), which will not do his credibility any good at all.

Should be fun at 5pm ? Dominic will have written the speech for him and handed it over with a steely gaze.

AnyFucker · 24/05/2020 16:54

.

HeIenaDove · 24/05/2020 16:54

So Boris is going to do todays press briefing Happy to do it when it comes to defending his mate.

Wonder how many petrol stations and rest stops between London and Durham are going through their CCTV right now . If i worked in one that is what i would be doing.

Fallsballs · 24/05/2020 16:55

I’d love a video of him dancing badly to Abba.

Let's be really clear on what happened: Cummings' wife was ill, and therefore not up to actively caring for their child. Cummings, who was not yet ill, did not think he should have to care for his own kid, so travelled 260 miles to find another woman to do it.

Find another woman to do it!
😂

tiredvommachine · 24/05/2020 16:57

I bet todays TV ratings will go through the roof!

twinnywinny14 · 24/05/2020 16:57

Apparently police have been knocking on DC’s door in London

AnyFucker · 24/05/2020 16:58

....and he "doesn't care" how it looks to the rest of us

SophieB100 · 24/05/2020 16:59

Beth Rigby, Sky, now saying that the mood from Downing St is supportive and she thinks Boris will stand by him.

Cant wait for the next issue of Private Eye And the next edition of HIGNFY

Peregrina · 24/05/2020 16:59

So they both became ill again after they returned to London on 14th April, so had to go back on 19th? Then they got better, returned to London, got ill again and had to return to Durham on 10th May did they?

I bet if this story hadn't broken on Friday night, they would have cleared off to Durham again for the weekend.

HeIenaDove · 24/05/2020 16:59

Same being reported on BBC Sophie.

Violetparis · 24/05/2020 17:00

now saying that the mood from Downing St is supportive and she thinks Boris will stand by him.

That is misjudging the public mood. A lot of people are angry about this.

SophieB100 · 24/05/2020 17:00

He doesn't care @AnyFucker because we are all so far down beneath him. One rule for him and another for us. His arrogance and sense of entitlement stinks.

OP posts:
Alsohuman · 24/05/2020 17:02

He’ll care if his back bench turns against him.

itsgettingweird · 24/05/2020 17:02

Here goes Grin

Lynda07 · 24/05/2020 17:02

He doesn't look all that arrogant to me, he looks innocuous. I don't think I'd recognise him if I passed him in Sainsbury's.

I couldn't give a monkey's whether he goes or stays, frankly, but would like him to stop hogging the news, am sick of seeing his name.

HeIenaDove · 24/05/2020 17:02

And we have lift off.

itsgettingweird · 24/05/2020 17:03

And yes Boris. We are.

The80sweregreat · 24/05/2020 17:03

His going to defend him isn't he?
