Favourite old children’s shows

I’m pregnant and feeling nostalgic for the children’s tv shows of my childhood! My absolute favourite was Old Bear Stories (from the Jane Hissey books), and I’ve just seen it’s all on YouTube so I can’t wait to show them to my baby!

What were your favourites, and do you think they beat out the Pepper Pigs of today?

I loved Botton Moon, You and Me, Cockleshell Bay, Telebugs, and Playschool when I was tiny. I remember being frightened of Zelda (?) from Terrorhawks.

When I got a bit older I liked Willy Fog, Knightmare, Dogtanian, T-bag, and serials like The Tomorrow People and The Girl From Tomorrow (it appears my generation was fascinated with "tomorrow").

Anyone remember Sharky and George??? My little girl would LOVE it!

Funhouse- it's a whole lotta fun, prizes to be won.

Oh, my goodness, nostalgia is a double edged sword when it reminds one of how quickly the years have passed

Rentaghost when I was very young, but nothing could compare to Ulysses 31 when I was a bit older.

Did actually buy Lizzy Dripping on DVD a few months ago and thoroughly enjoyed watching it again.

And Kizzy, in its entirety, is on youtube - never thought I would get to see it again!
