To ask your Hogwarts house and why?

Only read HP books not too long ago, hence the name . I didn't think I would but I loved it. Constantly looking for conversations about it online.

You're the Sorting Hat here. Which would you choose as your Hogwarts house and why?

I'd go for Ravenclaw - because I'm a bit of a rebel and think Gryffindor is overrated and they're a bit too big for their britches! Ravenclaw is just as strong and powerful.

Failing that, it would be Hufflepuff - The name alone is just 'sweet fluffiness"! Love it..and they're all sweet, kind people and smart there too.

Hufflepuff! Badgers 😍 Also there was a quote from some where I can't remember, it was like..."i just imagine in hufflepuff they sit around making stuff with safety scissors and glitter glue". My kind of learning 🤣

They have the reputation for being dumb, but Cedric was chosen as Hogwarts champion because he was smart and really good at magic, so I don't think that's fair.

I did the Pottermore Sorting Hat quiz and got Ravenclaw which I was happy with!

Hufflepuff. I always identified with it anyway, loyal, dedicated etc. Plus their common room is near the kitchen

According to Pottermore I'd be Hufflepuff. I was (gently) annoyed to start with - mostly from the teasing from me DH and DSIL - I'd always assumed either Gryffindor or Ravenclaw at a push but actually the more I've thought about it the more I like it. Because of that my little one has become my little snugglepuff!! DH is definitely Gryffindor though.

Pottermore and every quiz online I take - Slytherin. I’m happy with that, I’m ambitious and like to sit about and think about situations in advance. Don’t think the other houses suit me as well.

Ravenclaw for me definitely 😍

I've always related to the Ravenclaw description from Philosophers Stone, but Pottermore Hufflepuffed me, no complaints either way.

I am a Hufflepuff, definitely not brave, definitely kind and loyal to the end. I don't have a lot of ambition but i am hardworking I am Hufflepuff through and through.

Slytherin.

I’m 100% a Ravenclaw. My favourite things are reading, puzzles, getting into Wikipedia holes about obscure things, and writing. I’m passionate about my pet interests (currently trees, whales and American folk rock) and will read and talk about them ad nauseam. I love wordplay, crosswords, escape rooms, murder mysteries and board games.

I have a great affinity with Hufflepuffs, because I’m also very friendly, loyal, and food-oriented, but I’m not ambitious and ruthless enough for Slytherin, or brawny and headstrong enough for Gryffindor.

Slytherin. I love the Malfoys and Snape.

Hufflepuff. I have the socks, the pyjamas and everything.

Slytherin, according to PotterMore and I agree with it. I’m fiercely loyal to those I love, but once someone crosses me that’s it, they’re dead to me. I have no time for fools, and I like to shake things up a bit from time to time!

I did Pottermore and came out Slytherin. I’m a Scorpio as well so I think that’s probably correct!

Haha your post made me laugh. As husband and I were just discussing uniforms for prep school as DD starts in September and we were like where the F is the wand?! 😂

Hufflepuff, I don't even have to guess at it.

I've always felt affinity to Ravenclaw- I learning for learnings sake, read at least 5 books a week, and do well in exams.

DD1 would be a Hufflepuff. She works so hard even though she finds things a struggle. She's really dependable.

DD2 would be a Slytherin.

Did the Pottermore quiz..Gryffindor. I dont fancy that..just come across smug. Maybe its cause they get given points for existing.

Probably more Hufflepuff though. Slytherin be more fun...definitely not Ravenclaw. Not got that smartness.

According to Pottermore I'm in Slytherin, I was a but upset at this result at first but have to concede that I never have been very friendly or popular and I can't deny the lure of powerful dark magic......
