To ask your Hogwarts house and why?

Only read HP books not too long ago, hence the name . I didn't think I would but I loved it. Constantly looking for conversations about it online.

You're the Sorting Hat here. Which would you choose as your Hogwarts house and why?

I'd go for Ravenclaw - because I'm a bit of a rebel and think Gryffindor is overrated and they're a bit too big for their britches! Ravenclaw is just as strong and powerful.

Failing that, it would be Hufflepuff - The name alone is just 'sweet fluffiness"! Love it..and they're all sweet, kind people and smart there too.

Pottermore put me in Gryffindor. Very disappointed. I always strongly identified with Ravenclaw!

I've done the sorting hat quiz and the pottermore and both twice and have been slitherin all times.

Didn't know about the Pottermore quiz. Just did it and I'm Ravenclaw. Ha! Just as well I chose it anyway.

Hufflepuff me. I'm not brave or clever or gung-ho but loyal and do my best

Slytherin. I will always have your back but if you do something to hurt me I’ll never let you forget it .
Dd9 got the set of books for her birthday last month so has nearly finished the first and she says she’s definitely Hufflepuff even though she definitely has slytherin moments !

I’ve always felt a bit sorry for the slytherins having such a grim common room. Gryffindors get a wonderful, cosy tower with a roaring fire etc, yet slytherins is all cold and bleak and down in the dungeons.

I wouldn't mind Slytherin but just like Gryffindor, they've been over-sold to me as 'something'. So away with them!

I thought the quiz was about to put me in Hufflepuff. I chose them there instead.

I always get Hufflepuff.

I am fairly sure that the sorting hat would put me in Gryffindor eventually, but that it would give a lot of consideration to Ravenclaw.

I'd love to know what my patronus would be. My guess is some kind of cat, possibly a large one like a leopard.

@BlueBooby pottermore will sort you,tell you what wand you have and your patronus. Mines a dolphin.

Pottermore put me in Ravenclaw. Happy with that, it pretty much describes me.

The house I was sorted into when I was 10 on a website almost 20 years ago

I think I’d actually be either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff if it was real though.

I am clever but at the same time I could just see myself being put into the least “cool”
house

Pottermore made me Ravenclaw, but I want Hufflwpuff so bad I'm hoping that would prevail. They have the best morals,'they're decent friends.

Also their common room is right next to the kitchen. I bet they throw the best parties.

I was a Slytherin in the quiz.
I'm happy with that.
I proceeded to go out and buy all the Boots Slytherin bath and beauty products at Xmas

The Sorting Hat can never decide if I'm Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. Don't mind either way but probably more Ravenclaw. I'd have to persuade the Hat, as it says you can.

According to Pottermore I am a Ravenclaw. I love learning, I'm naturally curious about everything and have always been more of a leader than a follower. My DP is Gryffindor which is very true, he is very adventurous and loyal with a strong moral compass.

Hufflepuff for me! My patronus is an enormous fluffy dog, which is probably about right. Cosiness is next to godliness.
