Yeah I agree, I'm an anti monarchist and I like to use the opportunity to say what I think of them, because one day I want them abolished, and I'm not going to get that by being quiet and subservient. Plus, it really helps counteract the nauseating arse-licking that goes on by those who are happy to call themselves subjects.

It is irrelevant. I don’t know if it’s true or not but just because she employs gay people doesn’t mean she can’t be homophobic. She has 1.500 staff in Buckingham Palace alone, the majority of who she won’t be aware of or even see.

I mean, the royals have been largely sitting in their second homes, having the odd zoom call but other than that they are doing fuck all. I think they truly made themselves redundant in this crises. I was never a fan before but seriously, what is the point of these royal useless crumbs?

If I saw anyone “struggling” when the the queen goes I’d be doubting their sanity.

Secondly, she doesn't own any of those properties, they belong to the Crown and are grade 1 listed buildings of the utmost historic and iternational importance.

She owns Sandringham and Balmoral.

That old chestnut “she doesn’t own these properties” always gets trotted out. Yeah but she gets to live in whichever one she wants, all fully staffed and all for free, and at our expense.Buckingham Palace renovations.....just £365 million, but she doesn’t own it so it doesn’t count.

Yeah, and she’s done a piss poor job of maintaining the ones she doesn’t own, even though she’s legally responsible for their upkeep, and receives special funds just for that purpose.

Buckingham Palace is falling apart and filthy because she does no upkeep and lets her dogs piss everywhere, and she cannily got Harry and Meghan to agree to pay for the structural repairs to Frogmore (H&M always paid for all the non-structural work and for all the design), even though it’s shocking the Queen let a listed building under her care get into such a dilapidated state it took £3 million on structural repairs alone.
