To ask what you really really want now that you can't have it!

I probably have a McDonalds meal maybe 2 to 3 times per year (usually when we are on holiday). So the chances are I wouldn't have had one in the past 6 weeks anyway. But all I can think about is how much I want a Big Mac. In normal life, I drive past a McDonalds or 2 most times a day, and they barely even register. Now, as soon as I spot that big yellow M, I just start salivating. Is it because they are closed and I know I can't have one?

So I was wondering what other things people aren't normally that fussed about, but really really want now that they can't have them!!

Trips out with my GC. A day going round the shops and a garden centre.

All the fast food places are open were i live, obviously except MD/KFC, so there's no food missed. My DD is missing Krispy Kremes.

A Subway meatball melt. I'm going to get a footlong when they open again every day for a week.

My driving lessons, they were 'me time'. I'm now looking at Auto Trader like many look at Zoopla for property porn.

Just being able to go to the city centre for a browse and Subway whenever I had time. However, I am saving a fortune due to not being able to do any of these, so silver lining and all that.

A beach holiday somewhere sunny is the only thing I really would love but that will be a long time coming! I am actually surprised at how content I am at the moment and haven't missed things as much as I thought I might

A Chinese take away.

Sex.

I want some gas for the soda stream and a foundation that matches my skin tone.

To go away in holiday, or at least plan one.

Chorus rehearsal. It’s not the same on Zoom. I want to sing with 50 other people at once.

A gig, just a pub covers band would do. A pint and a sing along to sins good tunes.

The dentist. I'm halfway through an implant and had another molar pulled before lockdown. I haven't been able to eat normally for three months and would love to be able to!

I’d be happy with Olivier Martinez...who needs food?!

Eyebrow wax and a flat white. Not had either since 14th of March.

@FilledSoda we bought some soda stream gas from their website a few weeks ago.

@ Thevoice2019 I know it’s not the same, but have you tried the voltarol gel? And ice packs may help. I didn’t think the gel would work in the joint but it did improve it (mind you I only had the injection once and couldn’t walk afterwards! Four days of bum shuffling! So your hip and mine may react differently!

To give my other half a much needed cuddle. Due to us living long distance and him going on holiday just before lock down started it's being 70 days since we last had one. Both of us will need one more than ever on Thursday but I can't see that happening!

Oh and a McDonald's as well. I'm really craving one.

Fish and chips, the chippy is open but the queue is long and it takes the pleasure away!

The beach. We were supposed to be in Filey for a week over Easter and I'm dreaming about big skies and waves.

Just not worrying about everything all the time. Life is just a bundle of anxiety making situations atm.

Holiday and sunshine. I'm meant to be in Athens for a week from today. Been dreaming of souvlaki and Greek salad for months!
