To ask what you really really want now that you can't have it!

I probably have a McDonalds meal maybe 2 to 3 times per year (usually when we are on holiday). So the chances are I wouldn't have had one in the past 6 weeks anyway. But all I can think about is how much I want a Big Mac. In normal life, I drive past a McDonalds or 2 most times a day, and they barely even register. Now, as soon as I spot that big yellow M, I just start salivating. Is it because they are closed and I know I can't have one?

So I was wondering what other things people aren't normally that fussed about, but really really want now that they can't have them!!

To hear the following phrase ....... "Thankyou cabin crew, please take your seats, ten minutes to landing. That's ten minutes".

rosegoldivy · 03/05/2020 12:32

Can't believe I'm saying this but to go back to work!

My mat leave finished the week after lock down so I've now not been in the office in 10 months.

I miss the office banter lol

I miss the UK for many many aspects, but when I think about a sausage roll or a bacon roll I'm going mad. Where I live I can easily reproduce the bacon roll but not the sausage roll, I can't find that type of sausages here. I'm sadSad

I already feel lucky to be going to work every day and spending time with colleagues. I also realised the other day that I actually enjoy my commute! I enjoy the time to listen to podcasts or music. It's often the little things isn't it.

  1. Spend time with my mum and dad
  1. Primark - have gained some weight and have no jeans, tried ordering from h&m but order was cancelled after a week, then ordered some from boohoo and the quality is shocking.
Ordered some bras from newlook as i own only 2 bras after finishing breastfeeling which no longer fit properly, ridiculously small so have had to send them back. So fed up of shopping online and having to do returns Sad
Tattoocrazymum · 03/05/2020 12:53

I dont have the money to order from the likes of bravisimo unfortinately

samandpoppysmummy · 03/05/2020 12:55

Have friends over for a barbecue as my garden and patio is looking lovely with all the time I've devoted to it while stuck at home.

I'm a widow and as much as I love spending time with my teenage DC (when I can separate them from their screens!), I am really looking forward to having adult company again (and they are missing their friends too).

I also want to go to Devon to see my parents.

Harrysmum2020 · 03/05/2020 12:56

Pub.

ChippyMinton · 03/05/2020 13:05

I’d like to go somewhere with a big view. Countryside or coast, I don’t mind.

PS I bought Greggs frozen sausage rolls in our Iceland delivery (a one-off before they restricted delivery to the most vulnerable) and we had them for lunch the other day. Best lockdown food ever!

I really miss watching the football and the Formula one. I was planning on going to a few matches before lockdown.

The majority of the birthdays in this family are during April and May so there are lots of get togethers. I am desperate to see my adult Dc's, even though we might go weeks without seeing them prior to lockdown

Treaclepie19 · 03/05/2020 13:16

To cuddle my boys. One's in his army barracks, the other lives 2hrs away working in A&E. We've not seen them since February which we've done many times before, especially with DS1, but it's hurting atm.

Me and DH were meant to have gone on holiday yesterday but I don't care about that, I'd just like my family under one roof for a bit

EmbarrassedUser · 03/05/2020 14:13

I really want a cod and chips, curry sauce, pickled egg and a Rio. 😋 Second choice is an Indian with korma, peshwari naan, poppadoms, onion baji and sag aloo. We rarely have Indian but now I can’t have it I really want it! Oh and a cider from the tap!
