To think Phillp Schofield is REALLY smug and annoying?

I don't think he's a bad person, but he's really getting on my nerves recently and I don't know if that's my general tolerance being lower, due to lockdown or if he really has changed.

For example, what was with that interview at the zoo with the This Morning vet a few days ago?! How rude?! Don't get me wrong, initially I was with him - yes, give the rhino the branch, but he wouldn't shut up! Just kept yelling at him, "open my mic!!" completely talking over the other guy, who was actually trying to explain something very important. I think (although it was difficult to hear due to Schofields shrieking!) that it was something to do with the zoo not having enough money to feed the animals, due to Covid and the loss of visitors, so y'know....quite important Hmm Oh and then like a little school boy, started talking over them again, repeating "can we see the giraffes?.. can we see the giraffes?" 🤨

Plus I was recently recommended a YouTube video (must have watched an interview or something) of him and Holly interview Andrea McLean a few years ago and he was HORRIBLE to her. Yes, she had been unfaithful and quite publically, but he was so nasty and cold. Said something along the lines of "well that's not exactly very Cinderella like is it?" And looked at her like she was nothing. So maybe it's not so recent then.

He just has this very smug demeanor. When he takes part in a 'doing' item, he goes all pouty and looks so self satisfied.

Is it just me?...

I realised he was an asshole a Few years ago when he started examining his watch b closely then proceeded to adjust one of the clock hands in the studio.... I just thought oops the floor manager will cop it later

I’ll be shot for this, but getting sick oh he’s so brave, no he’s not he’s ruined his wife’s life. Seems to be fashionable these days to suddenly come out. Never mind the wives or husbands who suffer behind closed doors. No I’m not anti gay just sick of all the attention someone famous does it.

YABU to have just noticed this now.
He and Holly come across as very smug. That's the word I have used in the past so interesting that you have perceived this too.

And what is it with him and Holly being everywhere? It's like ITV only have about 8 presenters that they rotate.

I don't want to be deleted but I want to know more about that young man who was on TM set when he was under age and hit it off with Philip years ago. Many years ago. He (Philip) is bloody lucky i'll give him that.

Remember he fell out with fearne Britton? And you don't hear about her now it was because she stood her ground with his inappropriate behaviour. He also fell out with Ruth and emmon for the same reason.
Amanda Holden put out a cryptic message the day he came out about the truth always being more interesting. Basically a load of those in the media calling him out on his behaviour

I think you’re probably right, but the easiest solution is just not to watch the crap he presents.

Other than a couple of clips I don’t think I had seen anything he did between the broom cupboard and the clip of him coming out. Treat yourself to a Netflix subscription and boycott ITV dross Smile
