I don't think he's a bad person, but he's really getting on my nerves recently and I don't know if that's my general tolerance being lower, due to lockdown or if he really has changed.

For example, what was with that interview at the zoo with the This Morning vet a few days ago?! How rude?! Don't get me wrong, initially I was with him - yes, give the rhino the branch, but he wouldn't shut up! Just kept yelling at him, "open my mic!!" completely talking over the other guy, who was actually trying to explain something very important. I think (although it was difficult to hear due to Schofields shrieking!) that it was something to do with the zoo not having enough money to feed the animals, due to Covid and the loss of visitors, so y'know....quite important Oh and then like a little school boy, started talking over them again, repeating "can we see the giraffes?.. can we see the giraffes?" 🤨

Plus I was recently recommended a YouTube video (must have watched an interview or something) of him and Holly interview Andrea McLean a few years ago and he was HORRIBLE to her. Yes, she had been unfaithful and quite publically, but he was so nasty and cold. Said something along the lines of "well that's not exactly very Cinderella like is it?" And looked at her like she was nothing. So maybe it's not so recent then.

He just has this very smug demeanor. When he takes part in a 'doing' item, he goes all pouty and looks so self satisfied.

Phil laid low, came off social media for a while, did his 'be kind hashtag and any story was buried/dismissed as gossip.

At the point when he came out as gay there were accusations that he had been having a relationship with the young runner on this morning, early twenties.

Phil rushed to delete every trace of contact between the two on social media but something he didn't manage to delete (because he didn't have access to the account) was a tweet from the runner, aged around 13 at that point, thanking Philip for following him.

Pictures then circulated showing Philip posing for a photograph with a class of drama students at the "2 Faced Theatre Academy" in Holmfirth, were Phillip is a patron. Who was in the photo with him among the other students? The young runner - pictured to be between 11 and 13 at the time.

So Phillip met the young runner as a child at the academy he was a patron for, this child goes on to become his personal runner on this morning. Coincidence?

The pair are spotted out having drinks on multiple occasions and the Facebook prankster (aka prat) Jack Jones interrupts them having a cosy lunch and puts the video online.

Some "falling out" occurs later on and the runner is sacked just before Phil the hero comes out as gay.

All of this information is readily available online, at least it was at the point I was looking into it when he came out.

The reason PS is protected is because his agency (YMU - was JGrant, name now changed) has a 'quid pro quo' relationship with the Mail and ITV.

If the Mail / tabloids print shitty stories about PS, they won't get access to the other names that sell papers / ad space / create click bait.

Also, PS is on golden handcuffs to ITV. Attached to the share price. It's in ITV's financial business favour for him to be positively promoted. It's also why Ant was so quickly brought back into the fold.

OP YABU to go back to the beginning with this story after the amount of stuff which came out! There were looooads of MN threads on this and his relationship with MM, MM's alleged demotion to Loose Women, the super injunction, PS alleged 'grooming' of runners, the drama school he was a patron of, his alleged seedy flat in Southwark, and so on! It was all kicking off on Twitter and the proverbial was going to hit the fan and then... you know... stuff happened to take over the news headlines. I bet he is the only person in the whole country who is glad about Coronavirus because it's taken the heat off him.

@Havartitomeetyou You’re right - there is a load of shit posted on there and lots of it is about people I have never heard of, but I found a lot of the stuff on Phillip and the ITV crew seemed very plausible and some was backed up with pretty decent arguments/evidence. The most telling thing for me was when #thismorningscoverup and other topical hashtags (including the runner’s name) were trending on twitter...except they weren’t as twitter prevented it. And then they started getting deleted. All v strange...
