Still waiting for it Grin

RedSoloCup · 30/04/2020 13:11

Yes still waiting also 🙏

unicornsarereal72 · 30/04/2020 13:11

I'm very fortunate to be paid 100%. But obviously no expenses. A drive a lot for work so a few hundred ££ down. But not using my car so it is sort of balanced out.

GoingP0tty · 30/04/2020 13:11

Mine was normal, work topped up the remaining 20%.

stickman12 · 30/04/2020 13:19

Not as bad as expected. I'm under the cap and then tax NI And pension were adjusted accordingly so net pay I wasn't down too much

Nosuchluck · 30/04/2020 13:26

My DS normally earns £1500 per month and today he was paid £1200.

NaomiFromMilkShake · 30/04/2020 13:28

Grand, thankfully we just save mine, so no real impact.

Well apart from the 20% reduction. Grin

JustPickleRick · 30/04/2020 13:28

I'm glad it's worked out okay for most of you. Think I just did my maths wrong with mine lol

OP posts:
NaomiFromMilkShake · 30/04/2020 13:29

NI was paid, so that is state pension still trickling on, but as I only work twenty hours, I paid no tax.

Flyinggeese · 30/04/2020 13:30

Isn't it either 80% or 100% depending on emplyer?

Wendalicious · 30/04/2020 13:31

I’ve been told not to expect mine until it comes through from government!

Methtones · 30/04/2020 13:33

I'm on reduced hours to 80% not furlough, I'd done my sums right so no big surprises thankfully.

inwood · 30/04/2020 13:33

@Wendalicious I don't think they can do that?

Redcrayons · 30/04/2020 13:35

£250 down, but thankfully it arrived as normal. Still paying tax, NI and pension. I tried to drop my pension for this month, but it was all a bit complicated so I left it.

I get paid mid month, so my employer has to fund payroll without knowing how easy/difficult getting the money back from HMRC would be.

DuchessOfBeddington · 30/04/2020 13:37

@Wendalicious I don't think they can do that?

They can I’m afraid. Our employer was not able to pay us in advance, so we agreed to wait. However, he got the money from HMRC 5 business days after applying so we were actually paid a day or 2 early.

Longdistance · 30/04/2020 13:38

I got 100% of my pay. But, I am a cheap date so it wouldn’t have killed them to top mine up.

stardance · 30/04/2020 13:40

I didn't earn all that much to start with so it was fine, just over £100 a month down.

OH is thankfully still working, although he usually does a fair bit of overtime which has been cut right back, so his wages are lower than usual too.

We're saving on fuel costs, days out, kids activities, eating out at the weekend etc.

Herecomestreble1 · 30/04/2020 13:40

DH work have done something wrong with his and he's somehow ended up being paid more than he normally would have, despite being on 80%. Going to have to sort that out later today!

Badoukas · 30/04/2020 13:44

I got more than I was expecting.

Unworthie · 30/04/2020 13:46

I'm hourly paid 0 hours contract, technically, but I do have regular shifts. Thanks to the overtime I did last summer and at Christmas and on top of those traditionally busy times, some more due to sickness etc I've got enough to manage at 80%.
Big relief.
No where near the cut off point so at least I don't have that to worry about either like some people do.
Business has doors closed so was a bit dicey waiting 6 weeks until the payment came through from the government but I managed, especially not wanting to commit to clearing some small arrears that savings didn't cover until I knew I'd got my sums right and the money was actually there as with everyone, not sure when it exactly would come through.
But sorted a lot out now.
Hope those of you still waiting get it soon.

dementedpixie · 30/04/2020 13:52

Dh has had to take a pay cut (which is still more than furlough would be) but meant he only got about ½ his usual monthly wage. So glad we have a little bit of savings to fall back on

sociallydistained · 30/04/2020 13:54

Have lost about £600 . That's more than my mortgage. Pretty depressing

fivesecondrule · 30/04/2020 13:55

My DH is still working but taken a wage cut to "share the burden". He got his pay packet yesterday and was pretty pissed off. He earns over the £2500 limit though so it would've been much worse if he'd have been furloughed so we're thankful really.

Umnoway · 30/04/2020 13:57

My ex is saying he still hasn’t been paid his (so still haven’t been paid child maintenance) whereas my friends who were furloughed said they were paid yesterday or the day before so I’m following this with interest to see whether he’s telling the truth or not...

Mummiepig · 30/04/2020 13:59

Was supposed to be 80% got 0%
Company gone into liquidation before pay day, made redundant
Received no money, got £9 job seekers allowance last week, waiting 6 weeks for my redundancy pay :(
