Down by around £500 on mine however accountant apparently got figure wrong so am owed £200 for this month so next months will be only just under normal pay

Dh was furloughed not long ago so his was short by £300. But will be more next month

Methtones · 01/05/2020 13:14

cheeseycracker wow thats a massive thing for them to ask of him! Will he def get it?

DustyMaiden · 01/05/2020 13:17

Terrible, tax more than
Expected. Last pay of tax year, higher rate tax payer. Hopefully keep more of it next month.

cheeseycracker · 01/05/2020 14:11

Methtones yea it's a big ask and they better bloody pay it back! A contract style thing has been signed for it so here's hoping

safariboot · 01/05/2020 14:16

More than usual. Don't even know why. But my hours and pay vary, so maybe it's based on April last year, I don't remember but that might have been a busy month.

Whatsgoingonrightnow · 02/05/2020 12:11

Anyone else still not been paid?

Thislittlekitten · 02/05/2020 12:45

I’m still waiting on pay. I think it won’t be until Thursday or Friday from what I’ve heard from my work.

Wynston · 02/05/2020 13:03

Im still waiting for furlough....
I am also self employed so no payment until June.
I also had to apply for universal credit-I was receiving tax credits but that stopped on application of universal credit leaving me with no payments for 4 weeks.......thank god I applied for a mortgage holiday.

Wendalicious · 04/05/2020 19:20

Still waiting!!

Lovestonap · 04/05/2020 19:40

Because of tax on company car and fuel my dh was over £1000 down after tax. Which is well over a third. Fun fun fun. Have just got myself a second job because there's every chance he won't actually have a job to go back to. He's actually doing a cracking job of homeschooling, cleaning and cooking so there's every chance we'll keep it this way afterwards!

MistyIsland · 04/05/2020 19:44

Dh’s was what we were expecting, which is a rather large drop from what he should have got 🤷‍♀️

He’s heard on the grapevine that redundancies are coming so he might apply for voluntary if he gets the chance. I’m a little more cautious as in this current climate I’m not sure I want him out of work for a long time.
