Hears my too sents! (My autocorrect is having agida about now) A question for all who feel that cards will replace cash..... What will be the form of payment if the satellites are malfunctioning and the grid goes down and there is no wireless access to bank accounts? Bartering? First born children? Cash? When this whole pandemic began my DH went to the bank and withdrew several hundreds of dollars in CASH.... all in small bills. Yes, we are becoming a cashless society, but as the old saying goes.... "Cash is King" I'm a bit paranoid, so I always prefer to err on the side of caution....yes, I use my card almost exclusively, but I always have cash with me... You never know when you may need to pay someone for their service in cash in an emergency...trust me , I know.

I'm loving the idea of paying with 'first born children'. I'm one. I wonder why Mum and Dad didn't swap me for a fondue set or something? Maybe they tried. If they didn't maybe they should have done. Having said that, my little sister is way prettier than I am and would have commanded much better stuff

People have different necessities in their lives. If my partner didn’t do a bit of DIY he would go absolutely mental do yes B&Q is essential. Don’t be so righteous
