Bet if Diana was here she’d be out doing everything in her power to help the ordinary folk 💪

They have a job which is being an heir to throne he wanted to go back to flying air ambulances they will not be totally in control of what they can do due to royal protocol . They are not an a list celebrity rich couple .
What do you expect them to be doing going into hospitals or visiting care homes

I’m not keen on the royals usually but I think William and Kate are great. I think we should retire the queen, skip Charlie and put those two up there instead. They are modern, in touch and just what would be right for the country.

I am not a royalist, nor am I an overt republican, and I generally can’t be bothered on these sorts of posts. But I did get riled when I made the mistake of logging onto the Daily Mail website and saw eleventy-billion pictures of Meghan and Garry (what a wonderful autocorrect 😂) taking their dogs out for a walk (in their car).

How fantastic to be so rich and pampered that you can afford to self-isolate with your nanny/staff. Even in the midst of a global pandemic, the Sussexes are pretending to be just like you and I, taking a risk to deliver food parcels to people in their neighbourhood. All six households. And how fortunate that there were photographers there to capture the special moment.

Anyone else here (normally sensible and rational) thinking a few heads on spikes outside Buckingham Palace once this crisis is over? (Obviously, this is lighthearted in case Special Branch read my post & decide to break down my door in the middle of the night).

meaning what? Nothing. That's the point. They are nothing, do nothing, have no impact whatsoever. I have nothing against the individuals, but as officials, they are not needed and haven't been for decades.

They are not even pretending to have anything to do with the public.
