What on earth have I found buried in our garden?!

Recently moved house and due to lockdown and decent weather have finally decided to tackle the garden.

I was digging up the very far corner of the garden and found whatever this is buried about 2 inches under the soil and covered in leaf litter, my DP thinks it is part of an old radio but I think part of an old computer as I spy a USB port, and I cant fathom why somebody would bury an old radio. Can anybody shed light on what this is?

Iv got a horrible feeling about it Confused

We need a photo!

bridgetreilly · 07/04/2020 18:34

No picture.

ChewChewIsMySpiritAnimal · 07/04/2020 18:35

It looks like a computer motherboard to me

bridgetreilly · 07/04/2020 18:35

Oh, there it is. Circuitboard. Could be out of any electronic device. I don't know why you'd have a bad feeling about it, though.

MsChatterbox · 07/04/2020 18:36

I see the picture. A million conspiracy theories running around my head!

ZigZagIntoTheBlue · 07/04/2020 18:36

Why have you got a bad feeling about it rather than just assume its general crap someone has dumped?

Wildcat88 · 07/04/2020 18:37

It's a graphics card from a PC tower (have a friend who is in IT)

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 07/04/2020 18:37

That's nothing... My friend's parents found an entire ice-cream van buried in their garden when they were renovating!!

TightPants · 07/04/2020 18:37

It’s from an old radio isn’t it? I remember my dad tinkering with things like this.
Nothing to worry about.

TightPants · 07/04/2020 18:38

@LadyMonicaBaddingham WTF??? Shock

starfishmummy · 07/04/2020 18:39

Circuit biard. Could be anything. Just dispose according to your council guidelines.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 07/04/2020 18:39

I found a huge stash of batteries in a garden I was working in, that was a scary find. They’d all melted together into a huge block. I didn’t know what I was digging up and if it was going to explode.

Thatnameistaken · 07/04/2020 18:40

Aren't you dieing to know what's on it? Shock

Charlotteli · 07/04/2020 18:40

@LadyMonicaBaddingham what!! That’s insane

OmgThereAreNoPlanesAboveMeNow · 07/04/2020 18:40

I am disappointed. I was expecting bones😂

GreyishDays · 07/04/2020 18:41

Oh are you thinking there could be something incriminating on it?

MysteryFrog · 07/04/2020 18:42

@LadyMonicaBaddingham you can’t tell us that and not give us any more details!!!

PardonWhat · 07/04/2020 18:42

Someone’s probably had a fire and this didn’t burn?

StCharlotte · 07/04/2020 18:43

I was going to tell the story of DH digging up an untouched Chinese takeaway but was side swiped by the ice cream van?!

pleasepleasepleasehelp · 07/04/2020 18:43

@bunintheoven88

It just looks like an old motherboard to me.

How disappointing. I was expecting something really exciting or scary! Sad

TheReluctantCountess · 07/04/2020 18:45

An ice cream van! That’s amazing @LadyMonicaBaddingham !

Sloff · 07/04/2020 18:47

Apart from the ice cream van which sounds really, err, cool, the other replies confirm to me that I am wise to never dig the garden.

JasonPollack · 07/04/2020 18:49

Yeh I would be creeped by that.

StillCoughingandLaughing · 07/04/2020 18:52

It’s an old motherboard. From the way you were talking I thought you’d dug up someone’s old mother.

endofthelinefinally · 07/04/2020 18:52

It's just the remains of an old GCSE art project.
