Are German nipples the worst?

I just learned the word for nipples in German is Brustwarzen

The literal translation is "breast warts"

Is this the worst direct translation or are there more out there?

But today I found that there is an English word which means the same as Schadenfreude (I'd always thought the emotion was unique to German linguistics). It is "epicaricacy".

I was going to say that epicaricacy sounded French but then I read the link and it's Greek. The MN spellchecker didn't like it, but I will teach it - I added it to the dictionary.

In French, possibly to make sure it sounds different from the English phrase, a "walkie-talkie" is a "talkie-walkie".

I've asked a few German friends about this mythical word of yours, buckeejit, but none of us can think of one with that meaning.

I wonder if maybe you have misremembered, say "fremdschämen", meaning being embarrassed on someone else's behalf?

Here we say "If that bugger fell in the Tyne, he'd come up with a salmon in his gob!"

But yes - we really do need a word to express disappointment that someone hasn't suffered as much as we wanted them to.
