That's a food box for pensioners isn't it!

It seems they did have a vegetarian option but it instantly sold out so has been taken off the website completely. It was £5 cheaper so I’m assuming it’s the exact same contents without the meat products.

Loving the idea that sweeties, chocolate and posh biscuits are essential items.

They appear to have forgotten the wine, though.

Why no bread or milk but 2 kinds of chocolate? Don’t get me wrong who doesn’t want a bit of chocolate right just seems a weird choice to have 2 bars but no milk or bread product.

Also what do you eat the baked beans with from that selection?

If your desperate with no volunteers doing shopping and no family to help, they are a good idea though

I'm a bit disappointed with M&S's offering - no fresh meat, no fruit or veg, not even tinned, no bread milk or other basics, cheap tinned meals and expensive luxury treats. It all seems insubstantial, cheap and nasty for the price. Even if they can't offer fresh meat because they don't have the right packaging/refrigerated vans, they could put in items like apples, carrots, potatoes, part baked bread etc

If anyone lives near a BP garage that has an M&S Simply Food, they are starting to deliver via Deliveroo.

Now if only it was all dark chocolate, that'd be great!
