Following on from the Morrisons thread. Marks are now offering one.

but thanks for the alert

LoveFameTragedy · 31/03/2020 16:50

Percy Pigs!

inwood · 31/03/2020 16:50

If it was in stock I would order it.

Yogawoogie · 31/03/2020 16:52

All of our local farm shops are doing similar boxes but loads cheaper!

Yerroblemom1923 · 31/03/2020 16:53

It's a bit expensive for what it is. You could buy some actual food that you would use to cook meals with £35 from Aldi.

Yerroblemom1923 · 31/03/2020 16:53

Yes, check locally for fruit/veg box deliveries - far more nutritious and useful.

Feedingthebirds1 · 31/03/2020 16:57

I think it's a different type of offering. If you were in self isolation but had enough 'proper' food, a box of treats with a few basics like that could be very welcome.

MitziK · 31/03/2020 16:57

There's about 3-4 days of meals in there, plus a load of crap. Not a single vegetable to be seen (a small tin of beans isn't the same).

Surely this should be about getting fed to maintain health, not stuffing your face with biscuits, chocolate and sweets and then wondering why you feel like shit and you're vulnerable to disease? Or making up for M&S not being able to sell the sugary shit to pensioners?

They're also selling fruit baskets on their own too.

lentenwonder · 31/03/2020 17:02

The veg box schemes round us are all closed to new customers due to over subscription

bigchris · 31/03/2020 17:05

For that price it needs a bottle of red and white !

NotEnoughTime · 31/03/2020 17:05

Such a great idea. I have ordered one for my elderly father in law who lives a three hour drive away.

DamnYouAutoCarrot · 31/03/2020 17:05

The Morrisons one does look a lot more meal worthy in comparison. M&S hampers are always for sale for the goodies, fruit or alcohol.

They do come in handy for treats, but not the staples. I agree. I'll keep posting the ones I find, they may come in handy for someone.

For some reason I can't order it although it doesn't say out of stock Sad

PeterPanGoesWrong · 31/03/2020 17:07

Already sold out, so basically useless.

1forsorrow · 31/03/2020 17:08

Percy Pigs? No I go there for butter mints, you can't beat them. Isn't that why everyone goes to M&S foodhall?

Very pleased with the Morrisons box I got, fresh meat and veg, butter, cheese etc, the only thing I would have enjoyed would be a bit of fruit but I'm not moaning, it was a good box.

cornishdreams1 · 31/03/2020 17:10

Thanks op!

DogInATent · 31/03/2020 17:12

Has anyone seen somewhere doing allergen-friendly boxes?

YellowCorvette · 31/03/2020 17:14

Bah, out of stock. Would have been great for my 94-year old granddad :(

Haveitheright · 31/03/2020 17:19

sold out
Already!

londonrach · 31/03/2020 17:23

Peppa pigs i need this box

londonrach · 31/03/2020 17:23

Sorry percy...too much time with a three year old! My three year old doesnt like so more for mummy and daddy

Lindy2 · 31/03/2020 17:31

It's sadly no good for my diabetic mother. Far too much sweet stuff and not enough proper food and veg.

I want to order her a Morrisons box but I can't work out how to do it. The website says I'm in a queue of about an hour but then nothing happens, even after waiting an hour.

I know it's a very difficult time for supermarkets, although their sales must be very high. I do wish it would become easier to put an order in though. I'd be much happier if I could get a delivery to my mum. Anyone got any tips of how to successfully order from Morrisons?

Grumpos · 31/03/2020 17:37

That actually looks pretty good!

SunshineCake · 31/03/2020 17:45

Some people must be doing fine if they still have the energy to forensically examine the box and then complain.

*@DamnYouAutoCarrot please tell me how much the box is, thank you very much.
