Pot Noodle - who’s being unreasonable?

So there’s a hot debate going on in my house over the correct way to eat a pot noodle. I believe that you just eat until the “noodles” are gone, discarding the juice at the bottom.

Dh however believes in then drinking it - sort of like a soup.

Pot Noodle makes my nose run when I'm eating it. I just stir it in and it tastes no different.

You should be eating it the proper way. With a slice of buttered bread you can use to soak up the goodness at the bottom.

I never get much liquid left - it sticks to the noodles and I don’t make it runny. Just add the right amount of water! Haven’t had a pot noodle in years...

Drink the noodle juice obviously. I hope you're at least offering him your juice .
Although if you're dipping a cold jumbo sausage roll in it there's not much juice left. I'm hungry now!

It is disgusting and I am ashamed of myself, but I do love a chicken and mushroom pot noodle - completely vegetarian as they are made entirely of additives. I agree with your DH, OP, I drink the juice when I've eaten the noodles.

Can't stand pot noodle... However chicken supernoodles on toast with ham on top and cheese then melt the cheese under the grill is an absolute must

I drink the soup as I thought it was like ramen

My dh wins the rank noodle contest, he puts an egg in supernoodles ffs.

Bombay Bad Boy (king size, obviously) made with extra water so I can drink the soup then eat the damp noodles. Perfect hangover cure.

Pot noodles are like the remains you find in the sink after washing up so you are both unreasonable.

Use less water no puddle. I used to love chicken super noodles! They actually stained one of my pans in uni..

Well I always drink the water. My partner looks at me in disgust about it but he will use bread to soak it up. 🙈

You are both uncouth ....the trick is to make them with just enough water so there is no excess sauce at the end 🤷🏼‍♀️ If you fail to do so then your husband is correct, you cannot leave the sauce at the end. You, my dear, are a savage 😜

You are all wrong.
Fill to the line and dip a sausage roll in. Walls preferably.
Eat the noodles then soak up with the rest of the sausage roll

Ah the pot noodle, used to eat them as a student many moons ago. My daughter eats them and they smell lovely, but i would never touch one again lol. I used to eat it all and drink the juice at the bottom.

Easy solved, my ex used to leave what he called ‘the slop’ at the bottom but I think it’s the best bit so I used to drink his too

I like to drain off the liquid first ,then transfer into a bowl and eat like Im in Wagamamas! Can close my eyes ATM and hope when this is all over we will be there eating again!

Ohhh super noodles, chicken flavour with a knob of butter stirred in are gorgeous, esp with bread and (more) butter. I am going to finish this lock down fat and malnourished
