Is getting on my last nerve.

They seem to be trying to put the spotlight on him and turn him into a big ‘personality’ and it’s pushing me more and more often to Radio 4 until he’s safely out of the way.

He’s an over excitable twit basking in his new found fame just a little bit too much for my liking. His Brummie accent has been coming out much more strongly lately too. He’s hamming it up and trying to create a niche persona for himself.

So we had to start enduring Jess Glynn, Clean Bandit

whilst we all have differing opinions which is great and accepting that you cannot keep everyone happy all of the time I think we are all agreed

Maybe they could start their own radio station Radio Thrush with a list similar to this

Lunch - Vanessa Feltz with a daily hour with ( saliva slosher)( credit to IchWill)no Terry from the allotment only Gammons allowed to phone in
Afternoon - Steve Wright and his sycophants
Drivetime -Zoe Ball and more guests
Evening - Rylans mum with Claudia Winkleman and Tess

Travel and news by Ritchie Anderson all day every 15 minutes and a playlist from Radio 1

The thing with Rylan is he annoys people before they actually hear him, but he really has good old fashioned wit. He'd be good on the radio more.

I find him really irritating. I can't listen to Zoe Ball & move to radio 4 in the morning. Ken Bruce is great but generally the quality of radio 2 is dreadful.

Loving the inception of Radio Thrush. How has Elaine Paige been overlooked so far? Instant channel changer. Oh and I think Trevor Nelson can stay. He makes a decent fist of it covering for King Ken once he gets over his Popmaster terror.

There could be a weekend show called "And Anyone Else Who Knows Me". Not sure what the content would be (reading an old telephone directory, perhaps?) but it would be about as riveting as anything else!

If I had my way Rylan would do breakfast, I adored him when he stood in recently, Ken would have an extra hour, current affairs Amol or Vanessa...she is awful in most cases, but really gets down to the nub of things when she stands in for WankerVine who is just slime personified

Whhhhhhhooooooooo Garry Davies would take us to tea time and then Sarah Cox or Lisa Tarbuck if she stops the annoying transatlantic twang in an effort to be amusing.

Dermott O'Leary can be on standby and Graham Norton and Wossy can fight is out for the saturday morning slot....man alive I loved Johnathon Ross in the Saturday morning slot.

Dermot is the broadcasting sibling to Zoe. They share that weird breathless delivery. Don't like.
And OJ Borj. Hmmm I've only ever heard him dropping reference to his kids into every other link. Most of us have kids OJ. It's not special.
And you're al turning me off my Jeremy. I look on him as a kindred spirit. Same age, same music tastes, same early career. But my mind has been polluted by references to his sinister relationship with the loathsome Sarah Jarvis

I find the comments about his accent on here a bit but I agree they are trying to hard to turn Ritchie into a personality. With his love of girl bands and Westlife and stuff. Yawn.

I’m disappointed with both Zoe and Sara so far, sorry to say. They’re both just banal.

When I think how great Simon Mayo’s old drivetime show used to be - funny, intelligent interviews, book discussions, really good guests, the banter with the sports guy etc - I really could weep. Now it’s all “tell us about a time you tripped up guys.”

Simon Mayo's drive time was superb and I was utterly gutted when it went. But Sara Cox is extremely good on the radio. She's a total natural.

I can't decide who would be good at breakfast. I like Rylan but he is definitely best on a Saturday. Graham Norton, Liza, Michael Ball, Paul O'Grady, Claud and Johnny W are all perfect where they are.

Ken Bruce and Sara are fine. Just need to get rid of Steve Love The Show Wright. I'm the only person in the world who doesn't like Gary Davis. I don't mind Craig Charles or Patrick Kielty when they stand in.

Some of the stand ins are fine as a stand in but not for every day of the week
Amol suits the Jeremy Vine show more than the breakfast
