I had 1 few weeks ago, ordered another 1. I ordered 1 for my parents who are in their 80s. Now my mum is ordering some for my nephews and neice.

I got one this week, just me and my 2 year old so I think it will last us a couple of weeks. So impressed I've ordered another one for in 2 weeks time. This is a great idea and surprised more stores aren't doing it. They seem to be delivering in certain areas all at once, as my parents got theirs shortly after like and by the same delivery driver. We got a text with his name and time of drop off. This has been a life like for me as self isolating due to myself and DD having asthma, but not classed as extremely vulnerable so struggle to get deliveries with other shops. Well worth the money, so thankful for this service Smile just hope they can keep up with demand.

I've ordered mine to come tomorrow. It's been a struggle to get everything in one shop and this looks like a great solution.

Looking forward to seeing what it's like!

Morrison's have added a £45 meat box now which looks pretty good and slots seem to be readily available.

Finally! Three weeks later, after 2 calls and 3 e mails Morrisons have got back to me about my two non deliveries.

I am getting a refund in 7-10 days.

DaveGrohlsBeard · 16/04/2020 12:53

@StarbucksSmarterSister I’m glad it’s sorted now but 7-10 days for a refund is outrageous!

StarbucksSmarterSister · 17/04/2020 01:47

Good job I'm not desperate for the money back so I can get food elsewhere!

we got our first box yesterday - vegetarian. I was very pleased with it.

we got:
3 large fresh mangoes
bag carrots
bag new potatoes
bag onions
pk spaghetti
sachet microwave rice
loaf sliced white bread
1 jumbo kitchen roll
4pk andrex loo paper
tin tomato soup
tin French onion soup
tin mixed beans
tin baked beans
pk quorn cocktail sausages
2 soya veggie burgers
pk 6 Heck veggie sausages
pk meatfree mince
tub fresh pasta sauce
tub cottage cheese
block cheddar cheese
pk unsalted butter
1ltr Cravendale semiskimmed milk.

I reckon that's pretty good value for money and very little hassle.

Got an email from Morrisons this morning apologising for my box being short in value and they're refunding me £12, £7 for the cost of the missing items (I'd worked it out to be around £6.50) and the £5 delivery charge. Smile

Is anyone else having problems with the online booking/payment system? There were no delivery dates available for food boxes, so I kept trying and when delivery dates appeared I ordered a food box. All seemed fine, until I reached the payment section, when the payment would not go through. I tried a different card, but no joy. I even tried changing the delivery day to a later date, then resubmitting the card details - still failed. I emailed the customer services but got an automated reply telling me the basics of how to order a food box - clearly nobody had actually read my email properly!

I've had 2 previous food boxes and was very pleased with them, but now I'm very disappointed in their system. Does anyone know a way to overcome this glitch or is this the new normal for an online system that is overloaded?

Thought it might be an idea to revive this thread, as Morrisons have introduced some festive food boxes to their range, and there are still some delivery slots available before Christmas.

We've ordered the afternoon tea box for £20 as an extra gift for MIL (86, shielding). It's full of tasty sweet goodies; mince pies, scones, cream and jam, choc cake, but also includes tea bags, milk and bread, so is a nice balance of treats with a few basics. We've also ordered the Festive Feast box for ourselves. It's £50 and includes a turkey crown, stuffing balls, roast potatoes with goose fat and some veg. Between these two boxes most of our Christmas needs/wants are met, and we will swap some things (she is welcome to the sprouts that are in our box Smile). It's a relief to avoid doing a big shop next week.
