AIBU in thinking that one good thing that's come of all this CV nightmare, is that the wider MN community will have at least been spared eleventy billion threads on what to buy for a teacher's gift this year...

And the endless last day at school posts on facebook!

DifficultPifcultLemonDifficult · 21/03/2020 11:32

Theres a hypochondriac dickhead who comes into my work and complains about everything, and spits while he talks, and thinks the staff all go out of their way make his life a misery Angry he's self isolating for 12 weeks apparently, it's been so peaceful the last couple of days.

Lorddenning1 · 21/03/2020 12:10

If managed to do loads of washing this week, my laundry bin is almost empty :)

Vulpine · 21/03/2020 12:12

The kids wont get lice!

Vulpine · 21/03/2020 12:12

And there are no 'really important matches' on tv

LemonRedwood · 21/03/2020 12:14

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 21/03/2020 12:17

I can tell the difference between a Great Tit and a Blue Tit. I've taken time to work out which is which.

BathTangle · 21/03/2020 12:18

Massive drop in pollution levels meaning air quality is much better.

Communities pulling together to support each other (I might even learn my neighbours' names now as I will check that they are ok!)

BodiesMakeForGoodFertiliser · 21/03/2020 12:18

My garden looks smashing with the extra time and my house has never been this clean😱

Tiredmum100 · 21/03/2020 12:19

No eastenders
Less pollution
Less spread of other diseases
Realization of what really matters
More lye ins!

CaptainButtock · 21/03/2020 12:19

To reduce shopping I have gone for protein shakes for breakfast and lunch, I’ve lost a bit of weight, feel healthier and have got the exercise bike out of the loft. I have a disabled son and nearly all of my neighbours have asked if I need anything. Some I have never spoken to before.

This isn't the 80s with only 3 tv channels and only a landline and letter writing to keep in touch Grin

We have the internet with a million suggestions on Pinterest for inspiration on how to keep children entertained. YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, access to how to cook simple meal recipes. I am only concentrating on the good.

Pretenditsaplan · 21/03/2020 12:30

All the restaurants id normally have to eat at are now delivering so i can eat them on my sofa in my pajamas.

mrsBtheparker · 21/03/2020 12:30

Nousernameforme · 21/03/2020 12:31

I cleaned my oven

jenkel · 21/03/2020 12:32

At the end of this we may become a lot more caring community. My garden is going to look fab, just hope garden centers stay open,. I’m saying with my 3 fav people in the world, dh and kids. Just desperately sad I’m not seeing my mum who is 100 miles away and 74.

CloudsCanLookLikeSheep · 21/03/2020 12:34

I'm really glad the hotel in scotland that made its workers homeless got named and shamed. Its part of the beyond terrible Britannia chain. Whilst I don't want anyone to lose their job this chain needs to close. I stayed in one of their hotels last year and it was a truly horrific experience.

nitgel · 21/03/2020 12:34

MrsCVorFluWhoKnows · 21/03/2020 12:35
