AIBU in thinking that one good thing that's come of all this CV nightmare, is that the wider MN community will have at least been spared eleventy billion threads on what to buy for a teacher's gift this year...

I haven't worn a bra for a week

My wash basket is almost empty and hopefully ironing will get done tomorrow

No 6:30 wake ups for the bastarding school run

My toilets have never been so clean, I'm wondering if I can stretch this to the rest of the house.... it's debatable but we can hope!

I might actually get round to painting the hallway and stairs. I've only been putting it off for 3 months.

Also, I was reading about the effect of no gondola in Venice - the natural habitat is reclaiming it, signs up saying "don't step on the duck eggs" etc. Makes me feel a bit mushy and I hope it makes people think carefully about future actions.

I've got at least 6 months now to sort out my outfit and speech for being best person at my bf's wedding. They're planning to nip down the register office anyway but celebrate later.

My kids are playing together remarkably well while DH and I are ill, and really appreciating small things like new buds and leaves when we went for a walk along the street after 8 days inside.

I'm actually using this as an opportunity to start potty training DS. Was going to do this over the summer, but thought I might as well do it now. Already started today. Plus I'm getting more exercise in, as I've started putting toddler dance lessons on via YouTube and doing them with DS to make up for the fact that we're not doing stay and plays etc. Might finally shift this extra weight!

The reduction in pollution, the increased interest in reusable items, and decreased food waste - all positives for the environment I hope!
