To imagine Justin Fletcher coming to a sticky end

Maybe sleep deprivation or just trying to distract myself from all the craziness at the moment but...

I watch the start of something special and when Justin is singing his hello song in whichever place they are at that episode, I imagine him coming a cropper in a scenario, eg falling in front of the train, getting kicked by the kangaroo at the zoo etc etc. I have to have lost it... 🙄

Who is Justin Fletcher?

frazzledasarock · 15/03/2020 20:59

Mr Tumble. CBeebies bloke

DD used to love him, it’s now Andy

Vulpine · 15/03/2020 21:01

Well he is rather irritating

Amatteroftime · 15/03/2020 21:02

My little one loooves Justin

MT2017 · 15/03/2020 21:11

YABU. He's a legend and mine are teens now Wink

WanderingTrolley1 · 15/03/2020 21:13

I’ll always have a soft spot for Justin...

missmouse101 · 15/03/2020 21:13

Yabu. He is lovely and I have a secret crush on him. Grin

Butiwantto · 15/03/2020 21:14

I’ve always found him really disturbing..I may have a slight phobia Blush

oncemorewithfeeling99 · 15/03/2020 21:16

I prefer Andy, Justin, I’m sure, is a perfectly nice man in real life but his characters give me the creeps.

ChanklyBore · 15/03/2020 21:17

Justin, coming and sticky should not be in the same sentence.

BettyIsMyFavouriteSquirrel · 15/03/2020 21:19

Haha that’s really made me laugh to think of him falling down a hole whilst walking along gurning at the camera! I love it when the kids get so excited they start opening his spotty bag before he’s finished his intro bit

FrancesFlute · 15/03/2020 21:20

Ugh I cannot stand Andy Day for some reason. Anything he's in makes me cringe. Like Justin Fletcher though. I think he is very talented. Justin's House is my favourite programme of his. I'm sure all the visits are risk assessmented up to the hilt!

FrancesFlute · 15/03/2020 21:21

Something Special always makes me really emotional too Sad. I think it's because the kids are having a lovely experience.

Mammyloveswine · 15/03/2020 21:23

At least mr tumble is quite educational... ds1 is liking the god awful "gigglebiz" atm...

goodthanks · 15/03/2020 21:24

I like the makaton stuff and he makes those kids so happy... but I think he hates women. The way he portrays women in the "sketch" show programme is horrendous. Is that how he sees women? Alarming.

PorpentinaScamander · 15/03/2020 21:25

Hes lovely. I've met him twice.
My friend has worked with him and said hes really nice and not at all pervy like most children's tv presenters apparently Shock

ILoveAnOwl · 15/03/2020 21:27

I always imagine him like Krusty the clown in the Simpsons. All happy and smiley on camera and then just pissed and angry the minutes he's not in shot!

x2boys · 15/03/2020 21:28

I can't stand Justin Fletcheror something special I find him incredibly patronising ,and btw I have a non verbal child at a special school that they have filmed at .

amatsip · 15/03/2020 21:30

Love his Xmas eve story on cbeebies, he is magical.

Margotshypotheticaldog · 15/03/2020 21:33

My kids are older now, but I always quite liked the gardening guy, he had a bit of a dirty twinkle in his eye....
Found Andy's flaring nostrils a bit disturbing.... No strong opinion about Justin one way or the other...

NotExactlyHappyToHelp · 15/03/2020 21:36

I think he’s marmite. You either love or hate him. I used to roar with laughter at Gigglebiz. We still quote it now Blush.

FenellaVelour · 15/03/2020 21:39

Flashbacks to that Mumsnet “have you ever shagged a celebrity” thread, after which I could never think of him in quite the same way... 😬

NoNeedToBeRudeDear · 15/03/2020 21:41

I love Justin! I actually have a bit of a crush on himBlush

Andy freaks me out. Those flaring nostrils and wide eyed stare!

NoNeedToBeRudeDear · 15/03/2020 21:41

@FenellaVelour what was said about him?Shock

londonrach · 15/03/2020 21:43

Yabu. My dd aged three almost outgrown him now but still likes a tiny bit of justine but boy she loves andy (and waffle and molly and mack). I think he comes across as a nice guy and children enjoy seeing him. Love to know if he married, has children etc but he sensible and kept his personal life secret which i agree with
