To be obsessed with the name Millie?

Hi all,
I absolutely adore the name Millie, but my friend says it sounds like a cow. I even crocheted a rag doll and called it Millie. Also, it must be spelled Millie NOT Milly, the former is really sweet, the latter is just very very middle aged.

I think it’s really dull, sorry. And massively over used. There are so many Millie’s in the playground it’s not a name I could get excited about.

It’s a girls name nice enough nothing wrong with it. Seems to be VERY popular know at least 10 inside my child’s school and know about 5 outside who are friends kids or friends of friends.
Also know a few dogs called Millie.

My sister is a Millie- full name Amelia. I like it it's cute. It does get shortened to mill a lot
