To use their toilet when I’m cleaning?

I’m a cleaner and often have very full days where I am going from house to house with no break.
I try to keep hydrated but this means I have to use my clients toilet sometimes. I try and use it and then clean it after.

Would you be annoyed by this? Would you want asking first?

Wouldnt bother me at all

OnlyToWin · 29/02/2020 19:23

Surely no one would ever object to this! I would feel really upset if someone felt they could not use my toilet!!

Alyic · 29/02/2020 19:23

I'd expect you to use my toilet, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest

allthepeoplethatcomearound · 29/02/2020 19:24

If you’ve gotta go, you’ve got to go! Confused I’d be exceptionally surprised if someone had a problem with that. YANBU

rhnireland · 29/02/2020 19:24

I would be more upset by the thought that you would feel uncomfortable about doing so. Of course you should you use it as when needed

MrsPworkingmummy · 29/02/2020 19:24

I wouldn't mind my cleaner using mine.

RizzoFromGrease · 29/02/2020 19:25

If anyone had a problem with this, then they are the one with a problem.

Oysterbabe · 29/02/2020 19:25

It would not bother me at all. I certainly wouldn't expect her to ask.

AlCalavicci · 29/02/2020 19:26

I would not mind at all , you could pee or poo as long as the loo is clean after. I honestly dont see the issue

whattodo2019 · 29/02/2020 19:26

Of course not.
I would be very embarrassed and upset if you felt you couldn't use the loo. Likewise, you would be welcome to help yourself to tea, coffee, soft drinks

Reginabambina · 29/02/2020 19:26

This has never crossed my mind. I definitely wouldn’t mind.

whiplashy · 29/02/2020 19:27
Hmm
Ilovewillow · 29/02/2020 19:27

I would feel awful if our cleaner didn't feel she use our toilet. Ours helps herself to coffee/tea too as I expect her to!

Gizmo79 · 29/02/2020 19:28

I wish I could afford a cleaner to have this issue!

countrygirl99 · 29/02/2020 19:29

What sort of weirdo would have a problem with their cleaner using their loo for it's designated purpose.

reginafelangee · 29/02/2020 19:29

Wouldn't bother me at all. I'd hate to think my cleaner worried about this.

LemonFrenzy · 29/02/2020 19:31

Anyone that works has access to a toilet so it's no different.

cstaff · 29/02/2020 19:32

That would be like me asking my boss if I could use the office loo as far as I am concerned. I don't btw Grin

Redcrayons · 29/02/2020 19:34

Course it wouldn’t be a problem. If you’re cleaning when I’m not there, how would I know?

cstaff · 29/02/2020 19:35

If someone you work for had a go at you about this, I would be telling them to go find themselves a new cleaner. Nobody should have to put up with that shit

Schuyler · 29/02/2020 19:36

YANBU. It wouldn’t even cross my mind for it to be an issue. You wouldn’t have to ask me but be aware, some MNers are weird about toilets.

minipie · 29/02/2020 19:36

Of course! You’re the one that cleans it, if anyone can use it without feeling guilty it’s you!

PawPatrolMakesMeDrink · 29/02/2020 19:37

Wouldn’t cross my mind to be bothered by it. Need the loo, use a loo. And I’m pretty sure you’re someone who would leave it clean and tidy!

Smelborp · 29/02/2020 19:37

It would be absolutely fine - you’re cleaning it afterwards anyway!

Hoohaahoo · 29/02/2020 19:38

They didn’t have a go but I felt as if I was doing something wrong. I always try and be discreet and angle myself so I pee as quietly as possible if they are in.
Maybe I am overthinking it going by your responses.
