I know super personal but just out of interest.

I’m 5,4 and 13.5 stone- size 14 ish. I’ve just had a baby so losing weight slowly, aiming for 11stone. Which would be the higher end of my bmi, however I feel like I’m too thin and it’s not sustainable any lower even though I’m short..

5ft 9
9 stone 12
Size 12 but that’s vanity sizing as I have some very old size 14’s that I had after DC was born, that I now use as decorating jeans, and they fit.

I’m 5’2” dress size 12/14 and weight 11stone 6. I’m at the gym three times a week, aiming to get under ten stone.

Not so long ago I was just under 7 stone and struggled to get my weight up to 7 stone. Isn’t it funny that we never notice when we are perfect?

CloudsCanLookLikeSheep · 23/02/2020 17:54

I'm 5 '4'', 11 stone and a solid size 14.

I'm trying to get down to 10st and a size 12 which I know from experience is what works best for my body, any less and I'd feel too thin and struggle to keep my weight down.

TrashPanda · 23/02/2020 17:56

5ft 2 and 7 stone 8, usually wear a size 8 on top and 8/10 on bottom. I'm petite but a pear shape, non existent chest and narrow shoulders on a short body then wide hips and relatively long legs. I weigh slightly less now at 30 than I did at 18 but I've always been small but not skinny. My mum used to joke I had hollow bones as I don't look at light as I am.

oxoxoxoxo · 23/02/2020 17:57

Weight is a funny thing. I think we're all different. I am 5.3 and just under 8 stone. I've always been very light and my ideal weight is probably 6 1/2 stone (as I was in my 20s, decades ago....Grin). People say there is no such thing as small or light bones, but that's just rubbish!

I am mid 50s and definitely carry a lot of fat, especially around my waist and back. I had a private healthcheck last year and they pointed this out, but my GP only looks at my BMI and I'm fine. (That said, I mostly look OK dressed, so am not massively motivated to do much about it.....Grin.

I got married 17 years ago weighing about 7.5 stone, and my friend lent me her wedding dress. It was beautiful - slightly tight around the midriff but pretty good. She told me recently that she was 9 1/2 stone when she wore it aged 19 - and she was tiny! It was loose on her! We are about the same height, but she weighed 2 stone more than me at 19, than I did at 39. Just saying.......

CanICelebrate · 23/02/2020 17:57

5’5”, 9 and a half stone, size 10

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 23/02/2020 17:57

5'10, about 12 stone, size 14. Sometimes a 16 in certain shops. I have broad shoulder and quite wide hips.

Nuttyaboutnutella · 23/02/2020 17:57

5"5
8st 4lbs currently
Size 8-10
Trying to get back up to 9st as looked much better but keep gaining then losing the same 2-3lbs

FrankieGoesToLiverpool · 23/02/2020 17:58

5ft 10. 9st 6lbs. Size 6-8. Often feel I’m too skinny (bony chest etc) but I’m not that light because I’m athletic so carry more muscle which gives me more shape.

peanutbutterandfluff · 23/02/2020 17:58

@Teacaketotty @MagicMojito

Thank you both so much! It was hard and it took 13 months, and I've maintained now for (only) 1 month so far. I count calories on MyFitnessPal and run 1-3 times a week. I started slowly - eating 1800 calories a day, then 1700, eventually down to 1200 a day. I now maintain on 1800/day. If I have a day where I go over calories I try to make it up on other days rather than just say it was a "cheat" day. That helps keep me accountable.

It sounds simple and it is! But so hard. I used my son as motivation - I wanted him to know me as a fit mummy not a larger out-of-breath mummy. I'm not saying this should be important to everyone or anyone even, but it was important for me.

mummyof2boys30 · 23/02/2020 17:59

5ft8 and currently weight 10s 8lb. Have lost 1.5stone last year by doing an 1hr gym class a day but no diet change. I need to buy new clothes but guess from a big 14 to a 10 now

BrokenMumTeenDD · 23/02/2020 18:02

5'4", size 12, sometimes 14 on top depending on cut across my bust. Not sure about weight, but I'd guess about 91/2 stone given that I was just over 10 stone & I've lost a bit

SpaceCadet4000 · 23/02/2020 18:02

5"3, 8.5 stone, 8 on the bottom, 6 on top. I've been trying to gain weight- I had been just under 8 stone and I really didn't like how I looked. My sweet spot is between 8.5 and 9 stone I think.

Mummadeeze · 23/02/2020 18:03

12 stone 4, size 14, not too happy with my weight but can’t get under 12 stone no matter what I do. I eat healthily and exercise 5-6 times a week but just stay the weight I am. It is v annoying as the doctor told me I was overweight and I have been lighter in the past, but my body is so stubborn at the moment!

ChocAuVin · 23/02/2020 18:04

9 stone 4lb

ChocAuVin · 23/02/2020 18:04

Typo there - 5 ft 8 in Blush

EMacCoffee · 23/02/2020 18:05

I'm 5'10 (possibly nearly 5'11), around 10.5st usually a size 12 (but that depends on the brand and the actual item).

dontforgettofloss · 23/02/2020 18:05

I'm 5.4, 11 stone 7, and a size 12-14, I carry a lot of weight on my belly, I look disgusting

Bluntness100 · 23/02/2020 18:06

I’m five eight, a small size ten, I can go up to a twelve, no clue what I weigh, I don’t weigh myself, but go by my clothes,

I got up to where a size 16 was tight on me. So an eighteen in denial. Keto keeps my weight stable and I go to the gym most days. I’m fifty one. I’ve done keto for years now to maintain.

lljkk · 23/02/2020 18:06

Almost 5'8" and maybe 10 stone (I don't know for sure).

My chest is size 14. My waist/hips are size 10-12 says the Peacock size chart. I usually go for size 14/16 dress/tops & size 10/12 trousers.

To ask your height, weight and dress size?!

Riojasmoothy · 23/02/2020 18:07

*SpeckleDust

These threads leave me so puzzled.

Currently 9st 10ish and size 12-14. I don’t understand how people over a stone heavier are the same clothes size??*

Probably depends where they shop.
I'm 5'9 and 10st. I could say I am a size 8 or a size 14 depending on where I have been trying on clothes! Generally a 10 though.
