I know super personal but just out of interest.

I’m 5,4 and 13.5 stone- size 14 ish. I’ve just had a baby so losing weight slowly, aiming for 11stone. Which would be the higher end of my bmi, however I feel like I’m too thin and it’s not sustainable any lower even though I’m short..

TheHumansAreDefinitelyDead · 23/02/2020 17:34

OP, if takes 9 months for the baby (and you) to grow, you should allow yourself at least 9 months for your body to find its balance again.

I gained (and then lost) 4 stone with reach pregnancy Grin

No diets, just eating normal food

6ft, 11.5 stone (15.5 in pregnancy!!!) size 12/14

Lambzig · 23/02/2020 17:35

5ft 4”, 8 stone 8 lbs. size 6 mainly, sometimes an 8. Waist 24/5 jeans.

Mamabear88 · 23/02/2020 17:36

5'10'', currently 12 stone 9lb and a size 16. I'm still carrying my baby weight and trying to get back down to pre-pregnancy 11 stone 6lb size 14 as was happy with that.

geekone · 23/02/2020 17:36

I am 5 foot 9 and 11.5 stone. I am a size 12.
BMI is just over 23 so healthy weight. I am smaller in dress size than some of my lighter friends I think it’s because I am quite active. Weight and height isn’t always an indicator of dress size.

Good luck with the weight loss I was 15 stone and a size 18 when my DS was born and managed to get back to 10.5 you can do it. It took a lot of eating less and exercising more, though I would say I didn’t really do it healthily enough and dropped too many calories.

Coldilox · 23/02/2020 17:37

5’7, around 10 stone. I’m a size 8 or 10 depending on the shop

Verbena87 · 23/02/2020 17:37

5’6”, 8stone 4lbs, size 6-10 depending on brand and style. Top-heavy as I’m still breastfeeding, zero hips/bum Sad

I look/feel best when I’ve got a bit more muscle and weigh a bit more.

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 23/02/2020 17:38
  1. 5’6”, size 10/8 (depends on the brand and style) about 9 1/2 stone I think (I don’t weigh myself often). My body shape is “inverted triangle”. It’s genetics, both my parents were/are the same build (Dad 6, Mum 5’7”), similar weight, same shape. I do eat healthily & am active but this is me naturally. I was very ill at 20 & went down to about 8 stone size 6/8, I looked gaunt. I went up to a proper size 12 after my pregnancy with dc3(7), my weight didn’t actually change much (just 10 stone & still within normal bmi) & I definitely looked tubby. I was naturally back to my ‘norm’ by 9 months pp though.
muddypuddles12 · 23/02/2020 17:39

5 foot 6, 8 stone something, size 6

dontgobaconmyheart · 23/02/2020 17:39

5ft 5 and about 7.8 stone (mostly due to illness) my 'normal' is about 8.5-9 Dress size 6-8 but it's a bit meaningless, I often buy bigger for a slouchy fit or to accommodate my bust which is big for my frame. Plus I'm sure retailers just make it up, I have size 4, 6, 8, 10 and size 12 clothes at home all of which fit.

MinesaBottle · 23/02/2020 17:40

5 foot 2, eight and a half stone but clothes size depends on the brand - usually a 10 but can be an 8 or 12.

QueenMabby · 23/02/2020 17:41

5’ 7”, 9st 1lb (well I was last time I weighed!). Generally a size 8. Sometimes a 10 on the bottom.

Happypelican · 23/02/2020 17:42

5ft 8 ish weight just under 11 stone size 8/10 people are always shocked by my weight think I’d be less, I just say my bones are heavy 🤷‍♀️

MrsPworkingmummy · 23/02/2020 17:42

I'm 5'4, weigh 9 stone 3 and wear a size 8 or 10 depending on where I'm buying clothes from. I've had 2 children so have the undeniable mummy tummy! Prior to kids I was a size 6 and weighed between 7 stone 7, to 8 stone.

Tinymonkfish · 23/02/2020 17:43

5'6" , 10 st 3lbs size 6/8 . My weight is mostly muscle so people are always surprised at how heavy I am.

Jellykat · 23/02/2020 17:44

PP same height as me at 5ft 11", they're 8lbs heavier, yet shes a 10-12 and im a 14.. go figure! 'big bones' in my case, must be.

Ponoka7 · 23/02/2020 17:44

Once you get into the 'normal' range weight doesn't mean much.

My DD, 5' 4", has gone down to a 4/6, but upto 9 stone 4, since she's started training, her body fat is low. All of the women she trains with have gotten smaller but heavier.

There's pictures of women all the same weight but different sizes and body fat.

It shouldn't just be about weight, think about your, heart health, bone and muscle mass.

AreWeAnywhereNear · 23/02/2020 17:45

5'9 and a size 12, I've stopped weighing myself and decided just to be happy with how I look and feel.

I do feel like I need to some round my middle and I'm aiming to go down a couple of belt notches. Then I'll be happy Grin

ChangedMyNameYetAgain · 23/02/2020 17:46

5'4, 7st 10lb, size 8. Athletic build.
I'd be gross at 10 st.

SpeckleDust · 23/02/2020 17:46

These threads leave me so puzzled.

Currently 9st 10ish and size 12-14. I don’t understand how people over a stone heavier are the same clothes size??

At my lightest at 8st 10 I was still a size 12. I think I’m built like a barrel Confused

shinyredbus · 23/02/2020 17:47

5’6, 8st, uk 6 sometimes uk 4

SpeckleDust · 23/02/2020 17:47

Sorry, that’s at just under 5’6”

fearney · 23/02/2020 17:47

5'2 12 Stone and a size 12/14. I do have abnormally large breasts though so I guess at least 2lbs extra for that! My BMI puts me at Obese which is a bit insulting. I certainly don't look obese! I have big boobs and a tiny waist, very hourglass. My ideal weight is 10 stone really.

LouisaJenny · 23/02/2020 17:48

5ft4. 16st4lbs. Size 14/16.

ItIsWhatItIsInnit · 23/02/2020 17:48

I'm 5"1 and 7.5 stone, BMI 19. I used to be 9.6 stone (BMI 25ish) and felt chubby AF. Excess weight goes straight to my face, I looked like a pancake.

I like my weight now and am 100% happy with my body.

ItIsWhatItIsInnit · 23/02/2020 17:49

Oh and size 4-8 depending on the shop.
