Wondering about travel to SE Asia this summer - the context is that we've been promising relatives for ages that this year we'll come and see them (haven't been for 4 years). And then coronavirus happened. I'm trying to weigh up the pros and cons.
For now I'm on the side of saying we will go ahead with our intended trip... hoping that like many other seasonal infections, there will be a summer lull... also that if COVID does reappear with a vengeance next winter and thus becomes more widespread, then the following year we would definitely not want to be travelling... so this summer could be our "last chance"...
But am I just making reasons to justify myself?
