@flower1994 Yes I heard that. It's what I thought would happen, as it's happened with previous pandemics. There's a period of panic, then things improve as governments and health professionals get a handle on the situation. Then eventually the panic dies down.
As people are mostly surviving now, i expect there will be a vaccination, which can be taken if there's a clear risk.
With the swine flu, by the time I caught it, the panic had died down. It was damned unpleasant (especially the first evening) but I wasn't afraid of death or having to go to hospital by then.
Coronavirus was scary initially, when no one had got better from it (like it was with Ebola a couple of years ago) but it sounds as if it's coming under control now, finally. (Although I will keep listening to the news, obviously we don't know how it will pan out yet.)
