To be worried about Trump getting a 2nd term

Anyone else?

I actually think that he will and quite frankly it scares me.

He actually said that America was respected again, under his presidency. It frightens me that they are a number of individuals in America that will believe this dross.

I thought after 4 years, people would of had enough..now its closer I'm starting to think otherwise 🙄

He'll get in because too many people are too under educated too desperate and dysfunctional to understand the implications of what he does
After he serves another term this desperation dysfunction and lack of education will be amplified making way for another authoritarian to drive the country backwards

I have to admire his stamina, you'd think that with all the amphetamine he canes to fuel his solipsistic stream of consciousness word salad diatribes, that weird 'comedy' routine he does at his rallies, throwing out bones to the poor dumb saps who vote for him

Doesn’t it depend on who ends up being the democrat nominee. Some definitely seem less appealing to swing voters than others. I am not giving up hope until that becomes clear at least!

Are you under any illusion that they actually tried to impeach him?
They just showed how GOP was prepared to pervert the course of justice. They didn't even allow witnesses.
And made sure the entire country could focus on his failings instead of being thrown off by another dead cat.

The election is in November. Until then...

@Leaannb There is a long way to run and the nominee will reshape the campaign. No one will be talking about Iowa in October. But there is also plenty of room for them to mess it up further. We shall see.

I don't know if it's cocaine or speed, but it appears to be some sort of stimulant, don't know if it's administered nasally or by some other route but he's on something!
I'm sure that people with experience of using different substances would be able to get some clues from his behaviour about what he's using?

I think they always knew he would be acquitted but at least with the impeachment some amount of light has been shone on his dysfunction and incompetence

I don't see how what he has said is 'racist'. And this habit that some liberals have to dismiss people of differing opinions a 'racist' is the biggest threat to our democracy.

It did amuse me slightly that the woman behind him ripped up a cope of his speech.
