Can't be retro, I still have, and wear some dms from the 90's. And some T-shirts. I'd probably still be wearing the jeans if I didn't need my circulation. It's definitely a sign you're getting old when your teen dc go vintage shopping in your wardrobe and the loft.
Unless something changes, the 90's was the last decade to have bands/ music with long lived cult status. Whatever your personal taste, the 60's onwards all had a few, but I can't imagine in 20/30/40 years time the music from the 00's and 2010's still having a cult following.
And if my theoretical grandchild ever decided to rebel by dressing like Justin Beiber and dancing childishly to shit music I'm afraid I'd have to disown them.
