I see they've put flags down the mall but I feel like not many people will turn up for this. I know there's the big draw of farage, Widdecombe, and possibly the racist Jim Davidson. AIBU to think there's not likely to be a big turnout?

There are lots of reasons to vote Brexit that are not racist or jingoistic. They largely centre around wanting to avoid tax, reduce labour rights, roll back equality legislation and dismantle environmental regulations because it stops people making and keeping more money at the expense of others and our planet.

So, no, I don't believe all brexiters are pig ignorant racists, I think some have a far more cynical agenda.

I certainly won't be shedding a year when Nissan leave Sunderland. The workers can ask the Tory government for some help and see how that goes.
