How would you feel if you received this message from your boyfriend/partner?

I had mentioned that I wanted to start again with my hobby that I haven’t done for a long time (well before I met him)

I know it was sent with good intentions but I just don’t like it. Aibu?

I think it's just tongue in cheek so to say ...if he has had a few drinks then just roll your eyes and say speak to you tomorrow

I find the sentiment "not just a pretty face" to be incredibly patronising. I'm surprised to hear you've been together so long, the stuff he wrote sounds like the kind of "one line fits all" nonsense you'd hear from a guy who just met you tonight in a bar and is trying to impress you but doesn't actually know you. If you've known him for a year then it's far worse in my opinion for him to think and write in this way.

There are so many other ways he could have responded.
