@stripeypillowcase I think you're wrong.
We get around 40% of our food/groceries/general stuff for bathroom and kitchen, from Morrisons as that is our big main store - and the only 'main' store in our the little town of less than 10,000 people (a couple of miles away from us...)
Then the other 60% we get from Lidl and Aldi (got one of each in the little town.) We get SUCH a lot of stuff for our money in Lidl and Aldi, but can't buy the whole week's shopping from there, because it doesn't have everything we want, so we get the rest from Morrisons.
We used to just shop at Tesco and Asda some 10 years ago, because those were the main 2 stores in the part of the town we lived in at the time (both 15 to 20 minutes walk at the time, so both roughly two thirds of a mile away.) The next closest big, main store was 5 miles, and it was around 10 miles to the nearest Lidl or Aldi at the time.
We do have a big Asda and a big Tesco AND a big Sainsbury's around 8-10 miles away in another town, but tbh we prefer Morrison's, their stuff is better in quality than Asda and Tesco. And whilst Sainsbury's stuff is good, we find Morrison''s cheaper than Sainsbury's (for the stuff we need anyway.)
